The 2nd guitar is the Engelmann, its brighter and more direct at first stringing. Remember these were only 1 week old in this recording. Ive just been told by Andy that the German has now opened up and surpassed the Engelmann. btw. this is real German (bavarian black forest alps ca. 1976) acquired from the late Tony Murray. It will continue to develop for the next year as it is played in. Whereas Engelmann reaches its peak in just 3-6 months.
I like the sound of the second one more.. I feel it has more presence... and it's more dynamic..:) I would have to say it's the German Spruce... is that correct?
