I've used my debit card (via paypal) for $thousands for game credit and never once has my bank contacted me.
however, paypal once RANG ME UP and asked if I'd authorised it, which is good.
If I did, no action is taken. If I didn't THEN and ONLY THEN would they have blocked it / brought back the money.
If only all banks could do this.
