  • No this is not the Franklin, this 15 miles north west of Elephant Butte Lake.

    We are going back in August. Can't wait, every time I been there it has been different.

  • We drove about two miles into Monticello Box 16 June 12009 in my RAV4. It is such a beautiful place to see. The four part video series apparently started in Monticello town, 20 miles to the south of the Box end. I'll have to get my son and his big pickup to try the whole thing.
