GoPro SUCKS at night...but a wonderful camera for daylight! I got my first GoPro HD a year ago, just got my 2nd one about 2 months ago...I highly recommend this camera to anyone! Eventhough it does suck at night lol

@fsC130J Well, Spot makes the footage darker so I'd say no. That's just my opinion though. The night test I did in 1080P is without Spot metering and it came out pretty good.

Hey bud, that's an awesome video. I was wondering how you got rid of the glare, like on the tail lights. I just took mine out for the first time, it came out very bad. Everything was dark, didn't pick up on light very well, and any light had VERY bad glare. any suggestions. I used 1080p with spot metering on the outside windshield with the water/wind backing

@CrazyGook - It uses an industrial strength suction cup so you can mount it on almost any flat surface you want on your car inside or out. I've had it mounted on the hood, inside the windshield, on the rear quarter panel, front quarter panel, and the roof.

@CrazyGook - GoPro just released a firmware update so you can have a live feed out so that should help with the setup to see what you're recording. I don't believe you can charge and record at the same time. You can go to their website and see all the other accessories that they have.

@CrazyGook - I think that's an option during the live feed out but I'm not sure if there is a time stamp on the video itself. That might be a question for GoPro directly.

Yes, but there's no screen on the back so you won't be able to see or review the footage until you download it to your computer.

I thought you are supposed to mount them on the inside of the windscreen? Thats the idea of spot meter. I have only just got mine so not 100% sure still I'm impressed cheers

Wind noise is reduced if it's placed further back on the car and can be overcome if it's placed next to a louder exhaust. See my other video with the Trailblazer and STI racing to see what I mean.
