  • What interesting looking ducks. The ones I know are green and brown. Must be a different breed of duck. The other day, I saw a flock of ducklings in the park. So cute! ::hearts::

  • @welwisher I believe it's a wild duck called the Spot Billed Duck (Anas poecilorhyncha), native to that region.

  • Your uploads are always wonderful to watch.

  • fascinating... but why would a farmer elect to flood their filed? Are they adding nutrients to the soil?

  • @MyRandomuser123 It's a rice paddie mate. Rice grows in water.

  • Wow, loved it!!! that was a great vid! and the ducks added a little extra to the vid. as well! ;)

  • Amazing quality and explanation!

  • Awsome video loved every part of it!!!

  • This was nice after driving all over Los Angeles.

  • "Have a great wherever you are", will do Kurt. LOL.

  • One of the things I've always loved about Japan is that they seem so in tune with the tremendous beauty in such simple things as this.

  • Wow beautiful images!

  • What a lovely zoom. What is the name of your camera?

  • @blulaguna18 Hello friend, This camera is a Panasonic HDC-TM85. It has 40x optical zoom which was one of the main selling points. I'm very happy with this purchase though it is a little rough to use in wind as it picks up wind noise very easily. Thanks for watching. Have a great day! ~Kurt :-)

  • @softypapa Thank you Kurt for the information. Keep doing a great job. LoveJapanLoveJapan :-)

  • thank you so much for this video Kurt.

this brought to the surface, my love for japan, in such a way that it had me in tears. the beauty and tranquillity of the land, just so beautiful.

definitely the most special video since the harvest moon.

  • Hehe kurt you was not quiet for a very long time..^^

  • I once read a description of the ecological system that has developed over the centuries around the flow of water through the farms on the hill sides and down into the valleys. I never thought I 'd see it up close like this. Thanks.

  • So much rain, share some with Texas. :)

  • There's two things I wanted to say:

    1. Why not wipe your leans first, not being rude, just some advice! :)

    2. You do have a nice zoom you have there, what type of camera do you use? :)

  • @TheGhostOfSabotage if a lens cloth is not handy, wiping the lens will smear it and make it a lot worse :)

  • Mmmm...duck season.

  • First XD
