  • Despite our economic crisis, we are a continent which hold together! People, let us not quarrel! We have a commen History!

  • That is one helluva long ass table.

  • I thought the Germans hated the Russians. Why then would they make a film about them?

  • @huwwilson651Catherine was German silly!

  • @TZAVELENA most ppl dont know, but it's true. She was born Sophia in a German territory...what's funny was so was her husband...who she killed to get power. but no one liked him, anyway!

  • @huwwilson651 the way the Germans show "Potempkin..." THERE is your Russian disdain...btw, he wasn't nearly that stupid

  • @nnycc1: But you know that Catherine herself was a German princess ? LOL

  • @huwwilson651:

Münchhausen was a cheeky parody about the lies of Nazis in 1943 in German film (and about other totaltarian rubbish).

The film makers had to be quite careful...but it happened + was a success.

Most people underrate the humor of the Germans under Hitler.

The problem of the Germans (contrary to the French) is that they are too phlegmatic and say: "Oh, it´ll go way soon."

In this case they were wrong with Hitler.

    Shit happens.

  • Catherine is so beautiful...she's hot!!!!!!!

  • A great people will not give up easily...that's bascially it. We learnt to endure hardship and to take what was thrown at us on the chin!!! Movies like this one are an example of German steadfastness

  • As if the Germans had nothing better to do

  • Münchhausen (1943)

  • This was nothing compared with the next big Agfacolor movie " Kolburge". For this they took about twenty thousand troops from the front to dress them up in Napoleonic costume. The Russians could not understand what they were seeing when they looked at their photo reconnaissance pictures.

  • This movie was made by the nazi's under Joseph Goebbels. They diverted troops from the front to be extra's in this film.

  • @Gaveston whoa.....the more you know...thanks, man!
