  • That's.....just.......AWESOME! Did you start with an AWD Caravan and get rid of the driveshaft from the transaxle to the rear axle or a FWD with a drive axle from something else mounted in the back?

  • @GreenJeep1998 It was better to start with a front wheel drive as all the rear drive stuff dodge used is pretty wimpy. I custom built a telescopic drive shaft, a chain drive transfer case and 9 inch ford rear.

  • That'll get the kids to soccer practice pretty fast!

  • you sir, are a friggin genious!, and if i might ask how does the drivetrain work for the rear wheel drive, is it some kind of centrivugal clutch type of setup or what?

  • I just hooked the output of the turbine right up to the rear axle through a custom transfer case. I don't need a clutch as the output shaft of the turbine can be stopped while the turbine is running.

  • If God ever had a taxi service to and from Heaven, this would be the vehicle of choice.

  • Helicopter turboshaft in the back of a van, very cool lol. Put some slicks on that bad boy!

  • how much did this cost?

  • How did you get it to RWD?

  • the engine in the back is a turboshaft, it doesn't provide thrust, it drives the rear wheels

  • Imagine starting that up to go to work at 5 am.

  • How many gallons to the mile? This is awesome!

  • Whoa! That's pretty sick buddy... From this angle you can also see how much air the motor is gulping from the tyre smoke gettin' sucked into the side door hatches.... :-)
