If a shelter is full, then the shelter is full, and they have to make room for dogs who have the best chance of adoption. Go look up a few vids about shelters and their workers. @TheAnimalDen Write after I wrote that my son let her out of her crate to play with my 3 yr old nephew and she snapped at him. I got plenty of work ahead of me. I was pissed I told everyone not to let the dog out without me around. Many of things to be cleared but I think she do good. She was scared of the stairs now she is going up and down them. Thanks! she is potty trained so that is one good thing.

A APBT is a cross of the English White Terrier and the origanal bulldog aka (now american bulldog). Back then the bulldogs looked bigger than pits they look like the southern white american bulldogs.

ive seen some extremely tightly bred dogs, that are as tight as they get, that are as human friendly as can be. but youre right, while tight breeding can produce consistent results and magnify some of the good features, it can often magnify and bring out some undesirable traits over time. A good breeder knows when to outcross and which lines cross into his, and frankly...when to cull. Perfecting and improving bloodlines is a long process that really never ends.

ivsalt, you are looking at the wrong part of the problem. The problem is not the vet techs who put the animals down, it is the humans who allow them to be there. If a shelter is full, then the shelter is full, and they have to make room for dogs who have the best chance of adoption. Go look up a few vids about shelters and their workers. It's not something they enjoy, in fact, for most it's the bain of their existence.

We bought a puppy a month and a half ago from this man. Zaydin(pup) is the smartest dog i have ever owned. For a puppy he doesn't get into things after being told no just one time and he plays very well with my children.

I agree with you. I was attacked by a pit bull & spent 4 months not being able to walk, and then 6 weeks of physical therapy to learn to walk again. As far as I'm concerned, I wish these dogs would never be bred again.
