  • JD Hayworth -- The consistent creep

  • OMG THIS IS JACKED!

  • McCain is such a hypocrite. Trying to act like a fiscal hawk and cracking down on the border. What a liar.

  • Senator Mccain, take a lesson from Helen Thomas, history doesn't judge you on your overall achievements, but literally on the last thing you do. This is probably going to be your last term as senator if you win, is this how you want to be remembered?

What happened to the straight talk express? This seems like a weak accusation against this guy, everyone lobbies and I think Senator, you should be taking the high road on this one. This is beneath you

  • I'm glad Sen. McCain is exposing Hayworth for the idiot he is. He's a loser who was so bad, he lost his congressional seat in a SAFE REPUBLICAN DISTRICT. What's he gonna do next, get locked in a supermaket and starve?

  • There all take money from Lobbyist, I am sure McCain over the years has taken his fair share.

Just the pot calling the kettle black.

  • Tonight, June 14th, John McCain held a fundraiser in McLean, Virginia with Washington, DC Lobbyists and "insiders." The reason? to raise money to buy more ads attacking JD Hayworth as a "lobbyist" and "insider."

  • smart Nope lol thats great

  • @failblorg

"Failblorg?" Hah! Thumbs up on your user name.

  • McCain this is dirty politics, don't lower yourself to this. Just tell us what you're going to do, if you need to attack the other guy to prop you up then maybe you haven't though much outside the box. You need big idea's to win elections, not attack ads.

  • @Coolins335 big ideas? No, you need popular, and often incredibly naive and uninformed ideas.

  • @migkillertwo, winning elections don't mean much when you sell your integrity to win.

  • @Coolins335 LOL!!!

  • Where was "this" McCain during the real election?????????????

McCain only takes the gloves off to combat fellow Republicans???????????

  • Mudslinging isn't a way to win votes!

  • @AMCfan2007

I wish I could agree with you, but I can't. History has proven that negative campaigning is the most effective way to win an election, and the most effective way to destroy the democratic process and foster lousy government. (ie-government based on nothing but fear and resentment of the other guy, and voting for "anybody but ___" fill in the blank.)

  • @TrollBuster9090 I completely agree, but those are the people that I vote against, I have no respect for someone who can't come out and say this is who I am and what I am for and what I am going to do for you (And Follow through) and not say these are all the negatives of voting for the other guy. It doesn't prove anything to me, honestly I think it makes them seem like children and its pathetic.

  • @AMCfan2007 You're right of course, but the truth is that politicians only act the way that we reward them for acting. We reward them by electing them, and we reward them for telling us lies about what they plan to do (just telling us what we want to hear) and distortions and exaggerations about their opponents.

We have the government we deserve. The democratic process works, it's just a shame human nature doesn't.

  • Do you guys even know what a "lobbyist" is?

  • @migkillertwo lol

  • @AMCfan2007

Do you? if you do, can you explain what exactly is wrong with being a lobbyist?

  • @migkillertwo yes I do, and I don't know that there is really anything wrong with it in the sense of being it, but being a politician and taking money from the Special Interest groups to help fund your campaign then using the money for other things and never helping them is most certainly wrong, and its really easy to stray into bribery

  • @AMCfan2007

Well prior to the Citizens United ruling, lobbying groups couldn't themselves just donate millions to a Politician's campaign. That's not how lobbying works, a lobbyist merely argues on behalf of certain legislation. Have you ever heard of the NRA or the AFL-CIO? Those are lobbyists.

The problem isn't lobbyists, the problem is career politicians. We need term limits for senators.
