In my opinion, sticking to consoles is usually better unless we're talking like Oblivion and your PC is powerful enough and with enough memory to run it (and all those fun mods). For a game like this I prefer the console versions because even with a powerful PC and even if it's a new game, for one reason or another, things don't always work on them. With a console you rarely have any problems getting a game to work.

While I see your concern, there have been some fantastic ports lately. Some didn't like the port of halo 2 to the pc, while personally I liked it just as much as the console version, they might not have made it as good as games of this time, but it is still worth it. The best port I have come across is by far gears of war. It got a 9.0 on gamespot and it is a very impressive game. It feels like a pc game, though it takes a bit of time to get used the style. I highly recommend it. fantastic game.

Not really sure, You can find out today!!!! I wont be able to get it till spring, when it come out for the PC. Though I doubt you can walk into every room, I do know you have the ability to climb on anything that sticks out 2 inches. I think that is pretty sweet.
