The biking story reminds me of my own bike story...I was going along, on my way home, when a pretty big Doberman or something started chasing me. Mind you, I was about 6th grade at this point. So I'm biking away, looking behind me to make sure it isn't following me, and I turn a corner to go uphill to my house. I look in front of me and WHAM.
-You biked into a ditch.... I HAVE SO DONE THAT! XD Good you and your bike are fine. :D Also, it would be funny if you were filming when you rode off the sidewalk. >w<
-Salary man was probably checking you out. Jungle Gym Teacher has competition! XD

It think you confused 辛い(karai - spicy) with 暗い(kurai - dark).
