Shut up assholes this is a great machine! i think craftsman does a great job with power tools and wrenches, screwdrivers, etc. but they should stick it where the sun dont shine because of their drill bits, and power equipment. (lawn tractors, etc.)
@paulbreor THANK YOU!! these people are really idiots. I have mostly Craftman tools and i have been using them for years with no problems. Snap on and Mac are a waste of money, those i do have and use some of their special tools and sets
@fusionstar916 i used to work at sears automotive center and now i work at good year if you told that to any of my associates they would laugh at you.
I really hope for your sake you are putting a torque wrench on that thing afterwards... or at the very least a T Bar. I have the same gun and i wouldnt trust it to tighten to spec. It gets a little weak real fast.
Do you like this? I've tried two of them and it can't tighten or loosen even up to hand tightness on my vehicle. I thought the first one was defective but when I exchanged it for a new one it was the same way. I can't understand it.
Just as extra info... I just bought one of these with the two NiCd batteries. I tested it at work using a 150ft-lb torque wrench. Bolts at 100 ft-lb come out super quick. Bolts at 150ft-lb still come out fine. Since i don't have access to a torque wrench stronger than 150, i couldn't see if the Craftsman really pegs out at 200 or not. Either way, it seems to be a good tool. I also tried in on my car and the lug nuts were a piece of cake for this thing. Not bad for $140...
