I've always hated that her label & producers basically make her sing in a breathy/sexy voice only so they can turn around and autotune it instead of using her real full voice. she's always been able to sing like this, except because this is just a demo she doesn't have the control she usually has on her non autotuned songs.

OK I'm a gigantic Britney fan. In fact, she's my all-time favorite, I listen to her probably every day, I think about her even more, but there's no denying that this song simply isn't that great. I love the melody, and yes, her voice sounds deliciously smooth and unique at some points, but there are some moments where the vocals do get borderline embarrassingly off. Love her, but her voice has definitely deteriorated over the years and that's probably why she's not comfortable singing live.
