Hey Guy, I hope you remember that we had some good times? And I very much like your twisted point of view, and you questioning I'm right. This song reminds me of how wonderful it was when we would laugh together. Probably my favourite memory is lying in bed watching silly movies and laughing.
Heard this song for the first time 3 days ago. Thought it was Nick Cave but its even better. Just sent it to my best friend in Canada and thats the greatest compliment I can give as we only share the precious. Excellent.
@eddiecullen I agree. I never even heard of this band until last week. I saw a documentary about them on Netflix and now I'm a fan. This song is amazing.
haha Merritt has always problems with remembering the lyrics to his songs...it looks like they are displaying the lyrics on the ceiling, hehe look closely I think you can see him reading
The way that they leave you hanging on the edge before the beginning of each chorus is heartbreaking.

This is their very best song in my opinion. The entire "what are we doing in this dive bar" verse puts such a vivid image in my head.

It would not be exaggeration to say that I've played this video more than a hundred times in the past few days.
I'm not sure this is healthy, but I still love it.

Funny how captivating it can be to watch a man dress as he is, sing (sometimes even out of pitch) but still have all the beautiful tone and charisma.
Thanks for this

Goodness, Miss Simms has a chin to rival that of Mr Brian Mulroney. (Not a criticism - just an observation)

I'd love of a legendary duo cover between the late Johnny Cash and the lively Dolly Parton. Maybe in dreams!
