I'm so inspired by Ben, and I have watched every video of his since the first one he posted on OurAdvice4You. I feel like the community of his subscribers now has a very powerful connection with him, and always will. I think we were affected heavily, though we didn't know him personally. My classmates and friends on Facebook (including myself) have filled up the news feed with Ben's videos and statuses about him saying we believe in God and angels and are sending prayers for The Breedlove family. I havent gone a day since Christmas without thinking about him and crying. I have never spoken to Ben, but watched every video from the start. Earlier I was thinking about this and we thought the same thing. I truely believe that there was a reason that it was he passed away on Christmas. For anyone who hasn't seen the two index card videos he did I encourage you to go watch them. They are truely amazing and moving.

I think that is kind of what death should do to us. It should be ok to mourn and be shaken by it but in the end we should look back upon it and remember that we are not immortal and we could die any second so we need to make our lives count for something.

A friend of mine posted the news of his passing on facebook. I didn't believe it. I couldn't believe this had happened. I was shocked. I am a really emotional person, as soon as I found out I swear I cried all night. I felt so bad that he would never get to experience marriage or kids. Now I know that this was God's plan, he lived an amazing life and he still is, in heaven. I will never forget Ben.

Ben seemed like an amazing person on YouTube and I wish there was a chance I could meet him! I don't personally know him but I know he was great and will be missed forever!! His actions really inspired me to be a better person. I hope he is happy in heaven and knows he is missed. I am and will pray for Ben, his family, Megan and Justin! R.I.P Ben!

i cant hear about him and not start crying, i am going to do the same thing...think what woud ben do and what kind of advice would he give <3 i didnt know him...but i watched his videos and cant believe that such an amazing person had to go...why? :( we all miss him so much but know hes in a better place now...and something was telling him to make thoose videos and post them....maybe he knew that his time was almost up...we miss you and love you Ben Breedlove <3

I'm so inspired by Ben, and I have watched every video of his since the first one he posted on OurAdvice4You. I feel like the community of his subscribers now has a very powerful connection with him, and always will. I think we were affected heavily, though we didn't know him personally. He was always so optimistic and personal. You didn't have to know Ben to be inspired and impacted by him. Not a day will go by where I'm not positive I have someone watching over me. My classmates and friends on Facebook (including myself) have filled up the news feed with Ben's videos and statuses about him saying we believe in God and angels and are sending prayers for The Breedlove family. Currently people in my community are organizing a candlelight service and balloon releasing at a local park in Ben's memory:) Ben has touched so many people and it's truly amazing how he has impacted my community! I havent gone a day since Christmas without thinking about him and crying. I have never spoken to Ben, but watched every video from the start. His personality was so loving and warm that it gave any of his followers the illusion of knowing him. I feel like I lost a dear friend to me, and I did in a sense. He was so inspirational and so so iconic. He was as close to a perfect person I think I will ever come. Im so thankful that I got to be even such a small part of his life. RIP Ben.

i don't understand why gurus feel the need to state that them having no make up on when they film a serious video as a reason to why they're all over the place. the video jumps around a lot because you're upset and talking about something close to your heart, not because you have no make up on. this video was really lovely, i hope it helps you get some closure <3 and he now rests in paradise.

I'm so glad that you made this video about him; watching this and reading all the comments brought me to tears. He changed my life too. In 2012 I want to start a "Thank God" book and remember to write one thing I am thankful for everyday, because you never know when you may loose it all. RIP Ben Breedlove, may your family find comfort in all the lives you have, and will change.

i think he might've been some type of angel or a god's something.. like, he had this heart prob when he was a baby, he went throught surgeries, he PASSED AWAY moore then 3 times and he still came back to life.. i think that those times, that he passed away, (from his video), god was still 'not ready' to let him die?! and i think its his destiny. RIP Ben Breedlove :'( very emtional.

and same as you he definately inspired me to change my ways. ive began praying much more and going to church. 2012 = a change for me, thanks to ben. and i know when i get closer to god because of ben my life will in turn get better. ben taught me such an amazing thing and i hope to meet him in heaven. he has brought me closer to god and he is my true inspiration. he was so nice and respectful in his videos. so charming. i think that god brought him back to bring others to the lord and he definately succeeded. i mean he passed on christmas day and ben is from a christmas name (Benjamin: the son of Jacob).i wish i could have met him in real life but i know i will meet him one day in heaven<3 thank you Ben. rip and see ya soon

ive never met ben yet i feel like i know him so well through his videos and all of the tributes ive seen. he mustve been such a remarkable person and i dont think his death was meant to be as much of a sad and awful thing as it was meant to be a wake up call for all of us. we take too many things for granted and i doubt even half of us could say we are proud of everything we've done if we were to die today. I watched some of Ben's advice videos,& saw his final video on December 26th.I didnt make the connection that it was the same person who was making the advice videos until I heard from Megan.I watched his memorial online & couldnt help but cry when his sister & the preacher was talking about him.He seemed like such a nice kid &I know I can say this person,who I never met,only watched as changed me,so much.I will never ever take life for granted&always live it to the fullest.RIP Ben Breedlove. <3

Earlier I was thinking about this and we thought the same thing. I truely believe that there was a reason that it was he passed away on Christmas. For anyone who hasn't seen the two index card videos he did I encourage you to go watch them. They are truely amazing and moving.

I'm going to keep him close to my heart too. :) Even though I didn't know him in real life, I've watched his videos and he's an inspiration to me. Today I had my driving test and kept him close to my heart and I passed. :)

I do believe it was destined to happen, but it happened in a good way because of what he did. I never met him or talked to him, just watched his videos and I wish I did. He is now with GOD and will live a great life of eternity. RIP Ben, and hope the family is doing good.

I think that is kind of what death should do to us. It should be ok to mourn and be shaken by it but in the end we should look back upon it and remember that we are not immortal and we could die any second so we need to make our lives count for something.

I agree with a lot of what you said, Ben was such an inspiration and will truly be missed by so many! But I do believe everything happens for a reason, and those videos didn't just happen to be posted a week before he passed, it was fate. I'm so glad I had the chance to watch his videos and get to know him as well as see those final videos he posted and know his story, and the guy behind all of that. I hope he made it back to that room, and that he can see what a huge impact he's made. RIP Ben<3

He was such a beautiful person and he was an angel from God, and now he gets to spend eternity with Him in Heaven, and that is such a peaceful and incredible thing. He is truly an inspiration to so many people.. he is in a better place. He wouldn't want you to be sad, my darling. You can always talk to him through prayer :) God gave him such a fantastic life. A friend of mine posted the news of his passing on facebook. I didn't believe it. I couldn't believe this had happened. I was shocked. I am a really emotional person, as soon as I found out I swear I cried all night. I felt so bad that he would never get to experience marriage or kids. Now I know that this was God's plan, he lived an amazing life and he still is, in heaven. I will never forget Ben.
