  • ONLY BUY THIS PILE OF JUNK IF YOURE USING A MAC. DONT BUY THE PILE OF SHIT IF YOURE USING WINDOWS.

  • @DJVBasil haha poor you..thanks for the comment good thing im getting a macbook pro lol

  • can you hook up electronic drums to this?

  • My Question Is I am about to buy a mixer Preferably the Pioneer 909 but I see this and I think the mixer sounds cool also. I spin trance and house so what do you think I should get for that kind music I spin ??

  • quick question... what's the outputs on the rear of the mixer. I bought a korg km-402 about a year ago, and it's actually pretty good, but It's really not for use outside of your bedroom/ houseparty. does this have XLR out? my korg only has rca master out and I'd definitely upgrade to this if it had XLR, though I would miss the kaos pad, which is just great fun.

  • sorry just thought i'd comment again lol.

the possibilities with this mixer are more infinate than other due to having effects on each channel as well as master effects! its all a bit overwhelming at first but you soon figure it out. then it hits you! the possibilities with this thing are like no other1

  • Ok, how is this not the top mixer right now? It has almost all the DJM800 and Evo4 have, but its half the price.

Pretty sure this will be my first club mixer when I add turntables to my controller set-up.

  • Agreed totally.

  • @slytown

exactly how is this not the top mixer right now!!!!

only because the industry has a "standard" and that happens to be pioneer (unfortunately).

I actually own one of these, havent yet had the time to fully figure the beast out. (however i can assure you that that little fx-on/off/mute switch is awesome!!!;-))

takes a little practice and time thats all. probably unlike pioneer which is a bit more basic imo.

  • Let me know if you run into any problems with it. Iv'e heard some horror stories of hiss and poor sound quality.

  • @slytown ive been using this mixer for about a year now and pretty much the only time i get bad sound out of it is with a dirty vinyl or a shit audio file (use really good quality mp3's or wav's if possible). my biggest problem with it is that the auto bpm counter is kinda crappy and a lot of the effects require the mixer's knowledge of the bpm. i find myself hitting the "tap" button more frequently than i'd like to. effects are awesome tho! there's so many possibilities

  • Just ordered it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cannot wait :-)

  • how u like the korg zero since you have had it a little while?

  • kl kl mate cheers that will help with my kp3,laptop and decks sweet

    make sum phat dubstep

  • Guys can anyone help me out. I DJ as a hobby, and my set (no bashing please, I know its a lame one) is basically a macbook with a BCD3000. As lame as the BCD is, it's ultra cheap and has an integrated audio interface + mixer controller + plates for pitch bend.

Im very interested in the Korg Zero4, because it also has an audio interface, is a great mixer and also midi controller. My only concern is regarding buttons. Can the A and B buttons be used as midi controls ?

  • (cont) Cause I need to have at least a Cue pause and a play button assigned (like in the bcd). Regarding the lack of plates, how would you guys do to replace them with the Zero4 ? I don't use the sync feature a lot, most of the time I like beatmatching my tracks.

  • Yes they can be used as midi controls

  • hey tony, i bought this mixer a week ago and i am trying to record my mixes to my computer. i am using traktor 3 studio to dj (with a controller) and i cannot seem to get any recording audio from traktor's audio recorder. do you know how i can record my final mix to my computer using the zero 4 and traktor?

  • hahaha @ 1:08

    "these are reeaaally nice effects"

    i believe u man

  • hey i was wondering if the zero4 has KILL SWITCHES?? thanks

  • no it doesnt have kill switches, but the eq's go down to -infinte. also, if ur using a specific dj program that has kill switches on the software, you can program the zero 4 to activate them

  • ok thanks alot. so programming kill switches from ableton live will work?

  • you bet

  • thanks mate

  • yeah the mute

  • nice...

say, hows the sound quality compared to the pioneer djm 800?

  • hey i went to a dj store the other day and they explained the following to me

the djm 800 is much more robust and widely used compared to the korg zero4. it is the industry standard and when you walk into a club you will know wat you are djing with.

but on the other hand the korg zero 4 has much better developed effects. it also has the advantage of the nearly total midi controllability, and together with the built in sound card, you get all the features in one box!

    hope that helped

  • @JuliusKienlein Can you se it with 2 cdj's?

or do you need software such as ableton live?

  • @MrDigitalDeath yeah you can use cdj's. you can run with it ableton too. i have one with just a couple of tech 12's hooked up but it has input settings for pretty much anything.

  • thanks for that good review...let us know if you find anything new on your Mixer.... congrats on that great piece of gear

  • damn u bett me

    well done

  • FIRST!
