While I'm happy for the band members that they've apparently found happiness in their lives, it has affected their music. It would have been nice to get maybe a couple of songs that were like what we heard back on ABNG or albums prior ... that's all I'm saying. It would have broken the monotony of all the balladry.

Anyone hear the new album? Well, let's just say that ol' DinosaurJesus was right: another sappy, treacly, ballad-filled album of pop fluff from the Goo Goo Dolls. They used to write such great songs, but then they turned into a total wuss pop band. Little surprise, considering that everything they've done since Dizzy has been like this. I suppose they've all found happiness, which means they're uninspired now. I just wish they'd stop sullying the GGD name - it used to mean something.

The kind of connection I feel with this music is very rare, one of a lifetime kinda thing. I remember the days when I used to buy a record for one song or two and after listening to it being so dissapointed. Has never happened with this band. This record made me feel like I should have paid more. It's amazing!
