This song is awesome, the first time I heard it was the Christmas Eve the year my father passed away. My mother brought my brother and I to Maui as it would be the most unlike Christmas for us (we are from Canada), she took us on a helicopter tour of the island and this song played as the beauty of the island and the song overwhelmed me, I realized all my father had taught me and I could go on even without him. I returned to the island years later with family and married my husband.

This was the main song for my grandmother's memorial. She had lived with me for 7 years of my life. Their wasn't one second of that long period of time that I didn't like. This song reminds me so much of her. She always talked about Hawaii and going there with me. My Aunt and Uncle still live there and have her ashes. I hope one day that I go there and expierience what she wanted. This is such an amazing song. It brings tears to my eyes. Quite literally.
