  • 0:16 i'll probably suicide if my phone does that in front of me... its scary!

  • A pice of paper a good camera and some basic skills on photoshop...

  • bullshit, nokia software never lets anything kool happen

  • no need battery ?? how can you get this thing charged ??

  • The only thin cool is the design. Everything else our phone all ready do it. What the need to do isstop making them pretty just to seel and star making them functional. When a phone allways works thats when ill be impresed

  • I'm thinking that with nanotechnology, the batteries of these phones (and other products) will be able to have a far greater surface area with which to store charge.. result? Extremely high capacity, with an extremely low recharge time, and far greater recharge efficiency (so they'll last for much longer before you have to get another battery).

Also useful in electric cars and all that green shiz.

  • nice 3D Max, but i like the idea

  • that phone sucks it's thinking for you. You have your own brain. Why would you want your phone to influence you. What a gay companion.

  • phones will be this thin in the future im sure but i doubt they will have lots of functions. these paper thin phones will most likely be biodegradable and available from little terminals that u can buy and make a few calls on them then throw it away. like on that one movie

  • the inability to decipher cause and effect is the reason why the majority of commenters here will remain consumers. also this is highly impractical. it's a nice concept, but like most hollywood scripts, by the time it makes it to a screenplay it will already be shit. also (looks like a tampon) is real mature +6 says a lot. i hate to generalize, but people seem to like it. like a fetish of sorts.

  • everything in this video is practical, besides that people are going to use software to plan their day

  • it looks amazing!!!!!!!

  • form follows nothing

  • LOOKS LIKE A TAMPON

  • @jubjubcat HAHAHA LOL! :D

  • @hanafeberia yeah

  • pickpockets dream

  • nice WHAT ??? this phone doesn't exist.

It's just a fake, it's a video made of special effects.

Actually the flexible screens only have 2 colors black and white. Fujitsu made an 8 colors one but with a solid frame to stand on.

You wont see anything like this for the next 10 years or more.

  • Well Sony has a full color

    /watch?v=k6bkmPjVF-k

  • and real

  • sony has full colored flexible screen :D

    check here /watch?v=k6bkmPjVF-k

  • havent you heard of the OLED? maybe they can use that.. but still you're right..

  • @ramzoor haha unfortunately technology has proven you wrong on that one :)

  • parece tu absorbente ! x P

  • no me gusta.. pa q kiero un carton de telefono xD

  • Very nice! Very fun! Hahaha... I liked it so much!

And, vidonis has right! Immagination is the first stp in innovation!

    Good Luck!

  • that shit gonna fly out the window i dont want that shit!!!

  • that shti so thin it might cut you like those apple computers!

  • maybe should take on the nokia morph technology coz this screen is too small for most users like me

  • I Know about OLED. i mean about the form of body design

  • nice very nice :P

  • nice video. immagination is the first step in innovation. ;-)

  • with today tech. no possible. maybe about 20-30years

  • OLED technology is already available and will soon be on mass market. Don't be too quick to judge

  • lol Noo more like 2011

  • lol-en.

    Kara-Fake

  • Too thin

    Too ugly

Probably too light (there's a minimum weight you should reach even for phone)

    Software looks dumb

Screen size weird. (while we are looking for big screen to view personnal video/movie this one has been reduced to nothing)

Despite the technology being accessible i can't see a product like this one coming out one day.

    I wouldn't buy one.

  • and this is y i would never buy that peice of shit

  • what's up with the super-slim obsession?

a paper thin device might be nice if you want to stick it onto something, like wall or your shirt. not good if you'll have to pick it up and hold it in your hand sidewise like in the video. not ergonomic at all. a better design would be a slim pen-size device with rollable screen, or with micro projector or both. the body of the pen itself is a display for purposes like call indicator, time information, texting. motion sensor in the pen act as input.

  • que nadie habla ingles

  • ugly..both the phone and her

  • it's not possible yet, but the technology is in development.

  • the stop motion in this video pissed me off

  • A phone the does push-ups... great.

  • why she buys a 2 kilo book when there are such cool display techs like her phone, hm? kinda masochistic...

  • @suremind I'll tell you why, because the screen is useless. All this "concept" does is it shows a strip that bends more than currently possible. Oh, and sometimes by itself (which looks disgusting - like a worm). Disappointing - she disregarded currently possible tech, but managed to imagine almost no new useful functionality with her projection. Drop call button? How do you "reject"? I only liked it as a bracelet, but it seems she didn't even think of using it as a watch if bent like that. Pfft

  • the battery is good for 10 minutes or what?

  • Impossible unless it's powered by biometrics and you have to wear it like a watch as a result, but still a cool concept nonetheless

  • that shit. its only corrugated cardboard!

  • i want that shit

  • h a h a~~~~~~~~~~~

  • Nokia's representatives in Nigeria are already selling this on the web for $249 which includes international shipping. Available in white, black, pink and turquoise.

  • best joke ever

  • this is pretty close to nokia's actual concept design, except the actual design uses nano technology to the extremes that the fone itself changes shape, flex's and is also waterproof. If you drop liquid on it, the surface moves in a way so that it is pushing the liquid off.

  • th3h8ed1 that happens all the time on here, but it sends a msg to the person you replied to which lets them know you replied. Check your comments box and you will see what i mean.

  • It is look like "sanitary towel" phone for women

  • give me a break, this is shit

  • this sucks

  • Anybody know who makes this song?

  • cant use it on a windy day!

its like oops my phone just flew away

  • yea this isnt gonna happen for like 20+ years atleast

  • this is AMAZING

  • I guess you would prefer a phone from the 1980s with a 4 line monochrome display, that you couldn't even play snake on. Technology changes, you will love it when it becomes mainstream.

  • yea but dude i do kinda agree with him, its great we can make technogiggy small, but this may be too small, i would feel like im gonna break it.

  • ur a fucking jackass. do buy this fone its a work of art. asians are not stupid ur stupid for saying this in the first place. they are the ones who come up with some of the best technological advances in the world. what the hell have u ever done?

  • Fuck you too.

  • Everything looks very cool the only think that it dosent fit on this is the books haha I mean its supposed to be the future, I read that many bookstores are going online now, I guess that we dont need the books anymore not even now on the present.

  • same i thought :D

  • Çok kullanışlı gözüküyo.. Bakalım ne zaman alacaz elimize böyle bi telefonu.. Düşünce çok güzel.Tebrikler..

  • DUH?

  • dats jus amazin how the asian world comes up with these technologys lol

  • Since when is Finland part of Asia? O.o

  • no this has been released in japan

  • @WoodieMister Suomi sounds like Sushi. Thus Finland = Asia.

  • I think its kinda ugly... :/

  • cool!!

  • i think this is a product design students work. very nice though, i bet they got good marks.

  • i dont think its nokias advert

  • i like the concept but they better change the design lol it looks like a tampon

  • y didn't they get someone who looks fresh to be the model? not just she doesn't look so-out-of-bed, she also looked 'smelly', worn out, stinks...eugh...what a waste of money-spent to make supposed-to-be-great&appealing-advertisment-but-ended-up-stinky -all-the-way...

  • Phones looking like maxi pads...They better apply some of this tech to condoms..

  • what better place to keep your phone!

  • Whit tecnology OLED + MULTI-TOUCH SCREEN ITS POSSIBLE..

  • Tamer Nakisci is Turkish designer ;)

  • cool i love muslims ... no turk in Eu ! :P

  • no turk in eu ...

  • looks like a maxi-pad

  • this technology will take atleast 10 years from now......why are the nokia guys thinking so hard???

  • this technology will take atleast 10 years from now......why are the nokia guys thinking so hard???

  • watch all the other oled and foled videos before jumping to conclusions. this is perfectly viable. the screen needs to backlight and the pixels themselves needs hardly any power. a battery would not be that hard to come up with. the only thing that would make this so expensive would be the technology. materials would cost almost nothing. just like those stupid digital picture frames. NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT THEM BUT THEY COST A TOOOOOOON

  • omg ur retarted read the title it's a CONCEPT

  • @ robi...

    Asshole...

  • thats nothin

  • why does she have a..."book" those are soooooooooo 20th century! wheres the e-book?

  • that girl so ugly!!

  • if that was a real fone, probley the usa will keep it in a radioactive jar so that an amercan company would make one and sell that first then take the nokia verson of the fone and sell it but by the time an american company makes 1 the human race would be extint.

  • The only thing that halts this phone, is that the concept requires a liquid battery...

  • The video was apparently shot in Istanbul, around Besiktas.

  • it would be like 3 MILLION BUCKS

  • nice idea...with a device like you probably don't need to go to the bookstore...

  • that thing is fantastic!

  • oled and thin film transistors makes this possible...

the iphone sucks compares to this

  • So your point is that the iphone sucks compared to an artists rendering of a future concept? I guess that's a big complement for the i-phone.

  • no i think the iphone is also a work of art, i just think that if this phone is real then it would totally own the iphone, also i think it would be cost less then the iphone so more people would want it.

  • This phone is a joke. In the future all systems like this (telecommunications, multimedia, computer interaction) will be in the realm of portable virtual reality devices.

Remember this comment. in 25 yrs virtual reality (augmented reality) systems will be used by everyone.

  • Where is the microphone

  • i wonder how long would it take to actually

    produce such a thing

the flexing screen is actualy not a problem

but there is simple no were to inplement a batery in such desing

all though the concent is wonderful

i wish such a thing came out anytime soon

i think averyone would like to have on

    simply amazing

  • oh god i cant belive how cray my writing has gotten afther i read this again XD

  • I seem to recall an article about flexible rechargeable battery being developed.

The biggest challenge I see is giving the device the ability to move on its own. I suppose this could be done using some sort of artificial muscles.

  • People have been working on flexible batteries.

  • Nice I want one

  • really cool the cellphone...

  • this is sooperb

    nokia made it again

  • this phone is the most beautiful pohone i ever seen
