I am not a violent person. I was prescribed prozac for minor anxiety and it gave me very violent thoughts. I would watch gore videos of people being killed all day and read about serial killers. When I would talk to people I would picture myself cutting their heads off or strangling them. Also my anxiety increased ten fold and I became severely depressed and suicidal. My poor mother supports this stuff because these murders are her retirement and way of life, much like a pyschologist or psychiatrist. In some cases, in my limited experience, marijuana is a much preferable medication. My ideas on this matter are informed by the loss of my two younger siblings to suicide, as well as my own experience of thirty years of persistent depression which ended when I started smoking cannabis at forty years of age.

Children, as well as adults, are prescribed psychiatric drugs without any sort of testing. If you cannot prove that there is a physical or psychological need for these drugs, then you playing with fire. Drugs added to a a growing child's body can alter its development, permanently. Would you want to take that risk?

Depression is a product of this neglect.

If you want children raise them, and talk to them especially during teenage years.

Show them your LOVE.

Talk to them about God's Love.

It's more likely that these kids did such things because of their mental illnesses, not because of the drugs that were being used as treatment.

There is no proven neurochemical link between SSRIs and homicidal or suicidal behavior.

Further, SSRIs help treat depression in millions every year. I get the feeling that the OP has not ever suffered from depression, else he would not be so arrogant in suggesting that these drugs be taken off the market.

There is no such thing as a mental disorder. Once a person is labeled, they are treated like an illness, and a psychiatrist then will give pills to the person that is perfectly fine. They claim to treat the illness and try to help the patient. These are not real doctors. They are paid very well by drug companies for pumping the newest, most expensive drugs. The patient's interest is not at heart.

The problem is not drugs or guns. It is the psychiatrists that prescribe SSRI anti-depressants, which affect serotonin in the brain. This is directly what causes school shooters to act out. Suicide & homicide is a very common result of these pills. Psychiatrists claim to help people, but instead they alienate & label them. Many patients die from the eventual prescriptions.
