@Vacmasterthegreat i nwe some one that had a12 gallon that looked just like the red one in your video and he was a contorater and he told me he got the 12 gallon backk in 85 or before 85
@metalhead1237 I would agree. They have also now come out with a replacement filter that has the cap built in, like some other models. seems to have a very good seal compared to the old style they had for years.
@Vacmasterthegreat I guess I jumped to conclusion you'd already videoed the central vacuum at some earlier point and was asking where I could see videos of that one... sorry for being overbearing if I was.
@thevacuumman5 I've never gotten the full history on them, but they were a vac company in the late 80's or early 90's that made two vacs, the cms 1000 and the clear trak. they were forced out of business because Dyson claimed they stole his dual cyclone technology(when he first came out with it), as he did with Fantom later on. However, Amway actually did steal his 1st designs, whereas Fantom supposedly was paying him for the design. I have never used a 'real' amway, but I hear they are powerful
@Vacmasterthegreat Thats cool. Guess thats why I never heard of them. Wish Dyson din't have to put them out of business just because they took one design. I always thought Dyson was cheaper than anything else i have ever seen. they cost like about 5,000 dollars ( I might be wrong I think they are more than that) and yet they are cheap pieces of plastic with very small tubes they call "cyclone suction" which I think they look like they can clog easily.
@thevacuumman5 well as I said, they stole his dual cyclone technology. he had a patent and Amway disregarded it. So he was right in suing them. Fantom is a completely different thing though. I don't really like the hose on the Amway, sometimes doesn't stay in place.
@Vacmasterthegreat Yeah that is right though. They should have never stole the design on the cyclone. Kind of like the name amway though. its pretty catchy to me.
Just curious, when r you going to put up the video of the shopvacs in action?
