@damiandiesel1 These big 4 strokers were only made because 2 strokes started becoming illegal in most countries.. Don't get me wrong, I love a massive 4 stroke engine, but I'd rather have a 500cc 2 stroke.

Oh man! I'm so jealous. This thing is beautiful! I have an opportunity to pick up a beat up 750 model for $500. but, it would be a project bike at best. The only thing you need to do to this one is please replace that ugly single head light with the double round originals.
I used to have a 1986 gsxr 750 with the removable Tail Seat Cover it was a great street bike better than the newer Ones. Someone stole it and totalled it :(

Hey. Stock the were 110 at the wheel. Stick a aftermarket pipe, ditch the airbox and run cone filters it jumps up to 115-120 at the wheel. Bigger carbs can get it up to 125. After that you need to start playing with the motor, but you can get past 200 mph after that if you want!
I have recently bought a brand new tail panel and a second hand one.The second hand one was bought so i could have the tail light like this one out of it instead of the flush model.
hey aaagri,put a PIPE on that thing please!!!!you wont regret it!!!! i also noticed that the red taillight stick out about a 1/2 inch. in america they are flush with the fairing!!
oh jack,the speed limits-we go to the 1/4 drag strip here in los angeles. the street racers go to an abandoned airport in burbank.wyoming is the american autobahn with no speed limits in the entire state[about 500 across]!!!
Sounds like fun.The gsxr 1100h is the bike i most like to get out and ride .I have had 3 of the 750cc slabside gsxr bikes since 86 -This time it had to be a 1100.If you go on FIND STUFF on PHOTOBUCKET type in GSXR1100 you will see my Metalic blue and white 1100[[[sorry about my pose]]Haha.
we have round mirrors here and the backs are cone shaped for areodynamics.i had this same model[1986 british blue].i had the 1987 mettalic blue[pistons,cams,41mm keihins]stolen but i still have the 1987 red one.i'm sure you guys know the 86 red paint job is the copy of the british flag if you look at it from above the tank[ladders help]!!! and i just left from scotland!!!where you at?
Hi sjuozhunki,Douse the gsxr 1100[slabside] have round or the rectangle mirrrors in U.S.A.Also how do you guys get on with speed limits over there.We tend to get on large b roads over here and then go for it.I have the slabside model as i love the desighn so much better than later models.

the single unit was made only for the italian market. because in eighties there was problem for the omologation in my country...
