Does the R8 offer supercar performance at sportscar pricing? Hell no but the Z06 does and the ZR1 is in hypercar terrorty.
Does the R8 offer 650hp for less than 100k? no but the Viper does, in fact the Viper ACR holds a damn good record at the N-ring and for less than a 100k thats a better package than what most cars have to offer in that range.

Gentlemen, vehicle is a mule being towed between facilities. Version closest to final design will blow you away. We're making sure no vehicle on earth that will outclass or outperform it, what VECTOR has always been about since the early 80's. Made in the USA, to kick Global ASS. The performance specs for the new car are mind boggling, even for performance junkies. I'm involved daily with vehicles evolution. With current financial climate, VECTORS activities are paused for the interim.
I have seen the updated concept with the improved headlamps. Things are looking good. I hope this car lives up to the expectations. Vector has always been a source of patriotic pride to me. There's nothing like them in the world. Truly next level.
I'm excited to see Vector again. My initial impression of the WX-8 is that from the shell of it it looks to be a very beautiful, promising, supercar. I love the back end of it, but have to say the headlights have got to go. To me they still belong hidden, or maybe a small row of LEDs like the Audio R8. In my opinion it severely distorts the line of the car. Other than that, all good! Can't wait to see the interior.
from a performance perspective, the car is awesome. aesthetically speaking, it looks like crap. They both are outdated looks, they are styles from the early 90's, their looks are unacceptable and need to be redesigned. Actually, the Vector is slower than the SSC, the Vector only has a top speed around 240hp..

what engine is going to be able to handle 1800hp? Unless they design some new engine the only engine in production that MIGHT be able to handle that kinda power for any amount of daily driving or racing is the buggatti W16 and I doubt they would sell them that engine. If I owned Vector Motors, I would simply freshen up the WX-3 and give it the standard longitudinal engine layout. Then I would install a supercharged version of the 6.1 Hemi from the Chrysler SRT lineup. It wouldn't be 1800 horsepower, granted, but it would be a reliable engine.

Of course it would. 335 rear tires and 600hp will do that. But if you'd take th etime to drive them back to back, you'd see how abundantly retarded your comment is. The R8 is a much better package, and you get what you pay for.

Does the R8 offer supercar performance at sportscar pricing? Hell no but the Z06 does and the ZR1 is in hypercar terrorty.
Does the R8 offer 650hp for less than 100k? no but the Viper does, in fact the Viper ACR holds a damn good record at the N-ring and for less than a 100k thats a better package than what most cars have to offer in that range.
Hell ill go as far to say even the Nissan GTR offers a better package than the R8 does. It offers great performance at a low price. R8 doesn't.

I have driven the latest Viper (non-ACR), R8 4.2, and GT-R. If you look at them holistically(go look it up in the dictionary), the R8 is the best car of the bunch. Each car is awesome, no doubt. But the R8 is the most communicative and balanced, while being extremly comfortable. All-out speed does not take the cake

The Lambo, the two Vipers you see in my videos I have had experience with, I know what the fuck I'am talking about.
Audi does deliver great qualitly but an over all affordable pack is very questionable compared with Vettes and Vipers. You can't get a better performance package than a 500hp Z06 or SRT-10 for the same price as an R8.

Just look at the companys previous history on Wikipedia. they have a tendency of showing up with ghastly design and prototypes like this one.. with no engine in it. every 3-4 years or so. If it will hit production it will suck and if it doesnt then nothing is new there. The music is horrible btw..

Gentlemen, vehicle is a mule being towed between facilities. Version closest to final design will blow you away. We're making sure no vehicle on earth that will outclass or outperform it, what VECTOR has always been about since the early 80's. Made in the USA, to kick Global ASS. The performance specs for the new car are mind boggling, even for performance junkies. I'm involved daily with vehicles evolution. With current financial climate, VECTORS activities are paused for the interim.

I'm excited to see Vector again. My initial impression of the WX-8 is that from the shell of it it looks to be a very beautiful, promising, supercar. I love the back end of it, but have to say the headlights have got to go. To me they still belong hidden, or maybe a small row of LEDs like the Audio R8. In my opinion it severely distorts the line of the car. Other than that, all good! Can't wait to see the interior.

(and that's being generous.) i've always been a huge fan of amerian cars, and i'm all about performance over looks, but DAMN that thing is ugly. even if it's the fastest, most luxurious, best handling supercar in the world, nobody's going to buy it if it looks like it was built in someones garage...

They both are outdated looks, they are styles from the early 90's, their looks are unacceptable and need to be redesigned. Actually, the Vector is slower than the SSC, the Vector only has a top speed around 240hp..

what engine is going to be able to handle 1800hp? Unless they design some new engine the only engine in production that MIGHT be able to handle that kinda power for any amount of daily driving or racing is the buggatti W16 and I doubt they would sell them that engine. If I owned Vector Motors, I would simply freshen up the WX-3 and give it the standard longitudinal engine layout. Then I would install a supercharged version of the 6.1 Hemi from the Chrysler SRT lineup. It wouldn't be 1800 horsepower, granted, but it would be a reliable engine.
