This is absolutely lovely. Janowitz the great,Her 4 last songs of Strauss is magic & should be in everyones collection. How considerate Karajan looks towards Gundula, fitting in with her timing, I suppose I could say that in the other order.Magic anyway. Many thanks.
Wonderful except the badly off tune note at 0.26. This was a voice of purity and as such sometimes the tuning and vibrato gives an impression of going sharp ,a bit like Nilsson. Janowitz was the greatest Donna Anna I ever saw and was wonderful in the Verdi Requiem Salzburg1970
