The 80's VHS cover of Rabid used to scare the shit out of me when I was a kid. I creeped myself out many times looking at it in the video store. I finally saw the film several years ago and was surprised (and disappointed) that the film itself wasn't scary at all.
@LiveFastDiarrhea I really enjoyed Baader Meinhof Komplex. It was so well done it is not even funny. I loved the genre, cinematography, and the fact it is a piece of German cinema. What a great way to spend 3 hrs.
I have to agree with you on House...that is a real riot to watch. What was up with that kid's voice? But I guess it gave the movie more character.

I agree with you on Halloween lll. lol If you can get over the fact that it's not a continuation of the first two movies, it's not a bad movie. The idea of killer masks was pretty imaginative at the time I think. The Amityville Horror is one of my favorite horror movies. I wasn't aware there was a remake put out in the last few years. Can't believe that would be decent. I own Muriel's Wedding, love it! 8MM might have been the last Nicolas Cage movie I liked. Can't think of any others recently.

The Crazies was the first US-DVD I ever imported, because there was no decent release of the movie in Germany. Very nice pick-up.
Jep, agreed, they shouldn't have called it Halloween 3. I enjoyed that movie a lot.
House... is one of Fulci's best films. He's just the maestro of Italian genre cinema.

Awesome DVD Update!!
The Amityville Horror is a great and classic film.
I am a big fan of the Halloween series,but I still really enjoy Halloween 3.
Vacation and European Vacation are funny and classic films.
Sleepaway Camp rocks in my opinion.
