This is too weird, I saw Joe Bonamassa when he was 12, he was playing with Danny Gatton- it was great!! Now I'm seeing him playing with a 9 year old.. Pay it back!!!!
Well T-man fans I just wanted to let you know that International Artist Ron Suchiu has now completed Tallan's painting "Channelling The Blues" I was in the gallery yesterday helping to pick out the frame for the original painting. Once the painting is framed we will get it posted on line for all to see. Don't forget that if you want personal updates on the prints and their availability please feel free to e-mail me at rzarb@suchiu.com
DUDE, he said he was in the key of F. Doesn't really matter though. Joe was mearly trying to convey that if you are if F, there are scales in different degrees going up and down the fretboard to stay in the key of F.
Joe is just an extremely clean player...it sickens me how clean he really is. I like the part where Joe says "this is a weird scale.." yeah those PRS' are a tiny whimpy little guitar! :-D
What an amazing moment for Tallan! It was so cool of Joe to take the time to spend with him that afternoon and later invite him up to play at his show...check out the vid that my friend blues71 captured...that boy can play!! =)
PRS makes the best damn guitars in the world! And Joe Bonamassa is easily one of the best, if not THE best guitarist since Stevie Ray. By the way, near as I can tell that's a stock Custom 22 he's playing, which means it has a 25'' scale, which is actually a quarter inch longer than the standard Les Paul, which has been Bonamassa's choice guitar for several years ( though it's rumored his upcoming album with feature a Strat. )

Anyone know the scale or mode he plays?

I believe he is just playing the F Minor Pentatonic scale. But its Joe Bonamassa he knows alot more scales than anyone on the world.

@shellbblue He just seems so humble. In an age where musicians are so selfish sometimes this is great.
