  • I don't even know what he is saying... Who cares, sounds amazing

  • Il principe ignoto Nessun dorma! Nessun dorma! Tu pure, o Principessa, Nella tua fredda stanza Guardi le stelle Che tremano d'amore e di speranza. Ma il mio mistero è chiuso in me, Il nome mio nessun saprà!, no, no Sulla tua bocca lo dirò!... Quando la luce splenderà, Ed il mio bacio scioglierà il silenzio Che ti fa mia!... Il principe ignoto Dilegua, o notte!... Tramontate, stelle! Tramontate, stelle!... All'alba vincerò! vincerò! vincerò!
  • We will never see/hear his like again D;

  • @1986mvp I am going to smile and assum you're kidding, and move on :)

  • 2:56 musical orgasm

  • If there were a god, he couldn't sang better!!!

  • I was so excited about seeing him one day until I found out he died a few years ago, just my fucking luck. RIP

  • Dr.McNinja Brought me here.

  • Absolutely fucking epic.

  • Whenever I have too much work to do, I procrastinate for a while and listend to this, because it reminds me that no matter what I have to do, singing this must be infinitelly harder.

  • Definitely worth the hype!

  • I think I am too young for cry with one song, but right now I'm crying

  • One Word - POWERFUL

  • Why was my comment flagged? it was in no way derogative. I like and listen to Pavarotti albums often. The comment said if you look up to the heavens at night you will see the biggest star, appitaining to Pavarotti. The heavens is where the stars shine at night, Pavarotti is also a big star. No it is not Justin Bieber fans. Thank you.

  • i could fart out better music then this, im not saying this isnt good im just saying my farts sound really good

  • @DubStepEdition Not surprising considering your name.

  • @SolairesDN ;)

  • @SolairesDN I like some dubstep, doesn't mean that I have terrible taste in music, if I did I wouldn't even know who Pavarotti was.

In fact, a lot of dubstep is musically sophisticated and melodic.

  • @DubStepEdition sounds like a stupid american joke. Don't worry, you will have nuclear nukes from your russian friends.

    R.I.P. Pavarotti

  • @sacha9112 very true, to bad i don't live in america :)

  • 1:36 is my favorite part of this video! Luciano Pavaratti has sang this aria hundreds of times, I'm sure he knows it by heart... yet James Levine STILL gives him his cue. That's just awesome!

  • they just dont get any better than this.

  • @Ikoumori I believe that being the "guy that looks like a lobster with an afro" is one of the titles with the highest respect and bragging rights anybody can get

  • ME GUSTA

  • look at the emotion in his eyes at the end. no "musician" today has that anymore.

  • espetacular, admiro muito esse mito..

  • thanks luciano !!! GRAZIE LUCIANO !!!!

  • very very beutiful :X

  • grande Luciano.......orgoglio italiano!!!!!

  • ancient aliens

  • "There is something about the way Pavarotti sings Nessun Dorma that makes me glad to be alive."

    - My voice teacher.

  • He was miming, sure as all you apologists say, he was too ill to give his best, as a Pav devotee and also a realist, look at a very ill Elvis, he was too ill to give his best but he tried God how he tried, but he didn't mime.

  • @thecubanism

Pavarotti was very ill at that time, and didn't resort to using "uppers" to make a performance. Elvis, relied heavily on drugs to get him up and to get him down. There is a huge difference. The other diff is Elvis was pure baritone by his 30's to 40. Pavarotti was singing high notes like High C into his 60's.

  • Can a voice like this ever die??? Al alba vinceroooo

My god what a strenght what a power

God bless him now he´s near him

    Thanks Lucciano from Spain

  • from 2:36 to 2:50 on one breath ....

  • Looks like the 447 dislike came from Justin Bieber fans!

  • I woudn't get anyone down for not liking any aria at all, i'd petty them for not being abble to feel and understand the beauty and emotions opera brings, even more sang by Pavarotti. Bravo!

  • those who dislikes this must be idiots

  • That's the magic of music - it begins where words end...

  • operagasm

  • Conducted by Dr. Steve Brule

  • You should put the english translation of the lyrics in the description.

  • My favorite song by Luciano Pavarotti

  • @WordArtistry2011 It isn't a song, it is an Aria, and it isn't a piece by it is from Puccini's Tundarot opera ...

  • Usually I sing along songs I hear... this I can't

  • This song makes me cry at the very end. He's such a good singer!!

  • sends shivers up and down my spine everytime

  • OMG its soo good. even though i understand nothing LOL

  • Im enjoying the fact that they have to give him two mic's because his awesomeness is too big for one!

  • @PotatoPeelPie2994 whoa didn't notice that..

  • Thank you God for this man.

  • If JB can sing then when I fart I am Pavarotti

  • Guy at the start looks like a lobster with an afro

  • @zeribrex LMAOO

  • @drmx12333 XD

  • @zeribrex or wayne knight.

  • @zeribrex That guy is James Levine, and is one of the best conductors of our generation. I wouldn't have said anything but he is currently experiencing major health issues and it is doubtful that he will conduct again anytime soon, if ever again. I want him to be remembered for all of the great work he has done for the Metropolitan Opera and not as the guy that "looks like a lobster with an afro." I'm sorry to make a fuss, but please give the man the respect he deserves. Thank you all in advance

  • Comment removed

  • @Ikoumori So, if the guy wasnt famous, succesful, and respectful as he is, what? Then it would be ok to say he looks like a lobster? You dont respect someone because he has an university degree, you respect someone because its a human being. The fact that someone is famous or respectful, is not going to change anything.I can perfectly understand he was a genius, and people should admire that, and he looks like an afro lobster too, and he probably was a great human being

  • @Ikoumori don't bury him yet

  • @zeribrex You made me laugh like for an entire minute LOL

  • Talent at 100%

  • Pavarotti pwned it.

  • 13,889,966 of AWESOME people... I salute you all! ^ ^

  • its so wrong that the Britain's got talent version has more views than this....

  • 0:58 - Goosebumps

  • LEGEND!!

  • A big hairy man singing like a god. Doesn't get better than this.

  • If I close my eyes I fly.

  • Omg, why are tears on my desk?

  • oh....i have just find 444 reasons for use condons....

  • everytime i hear this it gives me goose bumps

  • orgoglioso di essere italo-brasiliano

    MITICO !!!

  • R.I.P

  • i think paul potts sing a little bit better

  • i think paul potts sings a little bit better

  • hes okay i suppose

  • I have no idea what he is singing about, and I don't want to know in case it ruins the beauty of it, lovely language and lovely performance.

  • Fuck the music, the conductors awesome hair is the real star of the show.

  • If you are standing in front of Luciano as he sings, your face will be melted.

  • Il migliore di tutti i tempi!!! non ha eguali! orgoglio italiano!

  • paul botts = better

  • @UrWifeMyKid ma stai zitto idiota . ritorna alla caverna da dove sei venuto!

  • I'm pure atheist yet this is still the most beautiful music I've ever ehard

  • @kado51393 Atheist my ass, your parents would probably beat the shit out of you if they heard what you said

  • @ItsTheRealHoudini Because you know SO much about my family. Ever think that maybe they're atheist too? I come from a family of intelligent people that like to know thee truth and want to stop hearing fairy tales about a messiah.

  • @kado51393 Yeah !

  • @ItsTheRealHoudini Kid, how bout you stop acting like you know so much about random people on the internet and leave them alone. Also, if you ARE religious you just sinned, good job.

  • @kado51393 KID?I'm 99% sure that I'm older than you,so stfu, and you come from a INTELLIGENT familly? No you're just too retarded to agree with 3/4 of the planet,so that makes you mentaly challenged.

  • @ItsTheRealHoudini Well, Christianity does NOT account for 3/4 of the population of the planet. In fact being atheist is the 3rd most common belief with Christianity as #1 followed by Islam. It's also a fact that atheist are more intelligent and less violent than religious people. It's also a fact that atheists know more about the Bible than Christians. Ever have a haircut? If you have then you've sinned. I'm a software engineer and I can guarantee you that I'm not retarded. Goodbye kid.

  • @kado51393 Software engineer?Ok so you're just a virgin geekenstein ,I get it,and I didn't say anything about CHRISTIANITY,not only christians believe in GOD,fucktard,I still keep my point

  • @ItsTheRealHoudini One sentence is enough:

Get a life. But we honestly shouldn't debate about the Religion of one anotheR.

Let eveRyone have thei own Religions. And just let them live theiR life, howeveR stupid we may think it may be. By the way, soRRy foR the big R's. My button is bRoken.

    Peace out.

  • @MikesOblvionPlane Do I remember asking you something?Shut the fuck up

  • @ItsTheRealHoudini Acting all high, huh? Not gonna get you far in life, son. You're way to prejudical to talk. But am I then being prejudical? Guess not, based on you comments earlier. JUst stop harassing others... I laughed, when I saw you're "Geekenstein"-comment, however. ^^

  • This version is, of course, Pava perfection. If you want to hear God's perfection listen to Pava's 1979 or 1980's version when he was in his relative youth as a singer with a fresh voice and perfect control--amazing!

  • @appeace1

true, but in those years he was in his mid 40's. I still love his debut, when he filled in for Di Stefano, and their gasps when he hits the high notes. Different song though:)

  • Comment removed

  • @babystinky Yes, age wise he was mid-40's but voice was, still fresh, total control, knife edged diamond top and heart melting pianissimo! The voice had not darkened much at this time as it would mid 1980's and after. I think it amazing an audience, that was probably compromised largely of people who were opera wise, could be so moved as to audibly gasp at a total new comer!--of course it WAS Pava!--lol Just goes to show there was no doubt who the greatest tenor was going to be.

  • 2:55 onwards, he was totally orgasming ;)

    exceptional singing tho..

  • 440 people expected go compare

  • Pavarotti thinking: "I just achieved the best performance of my life"

  • M,M,M...MMM

  • was there ever such an unquestionably accomplished singer?

  • Empowering. What a mighty voice.

  • lol when I read the top comment, "I was raised on Hip Hop and R&B..." I for some reason thought I was reading a quote by Pav from his autobiography or something and thought omg nooo way

  • magnificent,
