Omigosh, you and your partner are sooo great !!! I am a piano player myself, but an amateur one ( only passed my grade 8 from the Guidhall School Of London ). Watching videos such as this inspire me to practise my piano everyday. Who knows, I might take my recital one day. I love ragtime pices such as these and jazz. You are really great , and I will subscribe you on my site !!!
Bryan - You are so great. I'm sorry that I didn't bump into you at the 2009 Festival in Sedalia. Our schedules seemed to overlap. Your website is great. Lou LeBrun
@bixvenuti .... cheeky fellow but scintillating and fresh , however keep the cadence and don't speed up out of enthusiasm ... measured is the watchword .... look at stephanie trick's version
Excellent ! On question though - I always thought this was written in A flat. At least thats the one I learned. Yours sounded like it was in F. Did you rearrange or are there versions in this one ?
Thanks -- I'm glad you enjoyed it. You're right, the original published version is in A-flat, but when rearranging it, I decided to transpose it to F. It gives it a different "color," I think.
Nice, nice!!!!

I wish it were mine. Alas, this was taped at a friend's house on his Bösendorfer upright. A VERY nice piano indeed!

The song version (published in 1904) is in E-flat, by the way, so playing the tune in something other than A-flat is nothing new.
Anyway, fantastic job, Bryan!
