I am a Luo from Kenya, we do not have this kind of traditional dance in Kenya. One thing I know, all Luos in Uganda are almost like acholi in both Uganda and Southern Sudan. We are one Nilotes from the Nile River. We came from one family and we are brothers and sisters.

The Luo tribe is large for those who are not aware and there are variation in dances but they are all Luo dances - The Acholi, a group of Luo in Sudan dance exactly the same dance.

It is actually the luo from uganda (acholi - Gulu). The dance is called dingi dingi although they have just spiced it up. These days the dances are being spiced up.
