This is for edpiloya, I think what you are doing is pirating and infringement of Acoli culture. You collected more than 30 videos of Acoli dancers or singers but you failed to credit them properly. And you directed the public to buy the videos from a langocommunity website. Who gave you permission to do such a thing?
The Native AMerican musicians - drum players are saying that their music played by their grandfthers was slower- the drum beats. THey have olde recordings to show this- in tghe Pow wows.
They're agreeing that it is all tied up wih the Heart Beats of the Earth- the beats/of the drums (unconsciously) adhered with the Vibration of the Planet- the Schumann Resonance - was 7. - now it's speeded to 13.
Amazing dancing with the almost perfect symetry. Also noticed some the the dancers were boys. Very energetic. It needs an exercize guru to popularize it.
I am a Luo from Kenya, we do not have this kind of traditional dance in Kenya. One thing I know, all Luos in Uganda are almost like acholi in both Uganda and Southern Sudan. We are one Nilotes from the Nile River. We came from one family and we are brothers and sisters.
magnumforce1983 aha ur despicable and u might be of black descent are very ashamed of that fact one thing pple like u have to do is work on ur self esteem
The problem with Westerners is that we look at everything with sexual overtures. SAD!! What you see is just part of the culture. As Americans we can be closed minded to anything and everything we don't understand. These cultural dances have meanings. They are a way of communicating and teaching. As an American, I truly appreciate cultures which have remained true to itself. Just because it's different doesn't mean it's dirty!
This dance is one of the best I have ever seen. How can this be compared to the usless M. Jackson, Madonna or fucking any western concert. This is the origin of civilization. I am a Luo from South Sudan (Jo Pari) and I am proud to be one of most important tribe in the world. There is no distinction of where you are from. Our origin is one. My dream is that one day the Luo will be united and become a nation may be in the year 4009 (LUOLANDIA). Long Live Obama and all the Luo people where they are.
Bommafication... your a fucking Douche Bag man... i hope you frigging die in an plane crash, you live in the bottom of a frigging Litrea.... dirty ass homo... Im marrying a fucking Acholi, you bastards make me sick, i have to do that whole intro wedding shit.. fuck that man, FUCK THAT MAN, at the quanjular i want you there Boma, so you can testify to what i think of you and your fucknig fag people..!
No! please don't partition our continent any further. we have enough troubles already from 1886. The situation in north UG and south Sudan is not good. it almost happened in kenya some years back.. Long live AU. I dream of one strong Afrika without racial, ethnic, religious bounderies but only administartive ones.
@magnumforce1983 . Sad. U think by f... the c.... out of a woman, u can claim u love Africans. If this woman really exists she should run away from u n people like u. More respect.
A luo is a Luo and will always be a Luo.You might be a Kenyan Luo,Ugandan Luo,Sudanese Luo or even an Ethiopian Luo;the fact of the matter remains the same,we are all Luos and it's something we should all be very proud of.
The Luo tribe is large for those who are not aware and there are variation in dances but they are all Luo dances - The Acholi, a group of Luo in Sudan dance exactly the same dance.
Am a luo from Northern Uganda and i can confirm to you , that this traditional luo dance "Dingi dingi is true from Luo Land in Northern Uganda.. Please next time be more clear if your talking about luo tribe!!! Thank you.
This is not Luo traditional music. At all!!! Not LUO!!! Maybe from the Kenyan coast but not LUO!!! Or please specify which Luo? (It definitely is not the ones from Kenya) It doesnt sound Luo at all :-(
It is actually the luo from uganda (acholi - Gulu). The dance is called dingi dingi although they have just spiced it up. These days the dances are being spiced up.

The traditional music from Latin America is being changed also. It'[s all being fused with other music, other countries, esp. the U.S. rock.
If you don;'t go to the vallages and record these old music, you'll lose it.
