Had one as a teenager. Good little gun but mine had a super stiff trigger. The one I had would chew up a finger if you pulled the trigger while the slide was retracted. They made a side lever model that almost got me once back then. Not a youth gun by a long shot. the older ones did not have the second lever in the trigger well.

Wal mart sells some break barrel air rifles for around a hundred dollars that are pretty accurate. Or if you wanted to spend a little more, bass pro or cabelas has a nice selection of higher quality ones.
@fastj14 yeah ive seen the bass pro ones they seem to come with better scopes with 10x or 20x magnification, but the problem is i dont know if the sights can compete with the guns accuracy by itself
Yeah! this rifle can be used for rabbiting but try use "prometheus" zinc pellets,it can inbed lead pellets into hard wood,had strong cocking lever and is best with a 32X scope,iron sights are good,mine shoots a little high,was second hand made in Shanghai but is accurate as a pin when scoped in,a good buy new or old!
I have a model very similiar but it has a white stripe on the butt between the black plastic and wood. I love that gun. Mine does need an overhaul though.

people losing there fingers is really stupid i have that gun and it has a slowly closing mechanism so when you close the chamber it is really easy to push so unless those people had slammed that chamber as hard as they could while they are loading it i just think its a load of rubbish. my opinion................ or those people are just thick as shit.
@f0Xy251 yeah, but from what i hear is if a piece in the cocking mechanism shears while cocked the breech will slam shut, and if your loading a pellet i'm sure that would do some damage. Was just mentioned after some internet searching.
@fastj14 ohh i see. on the 1 i have it did break inside at one point and whenever you tried to cock it it was very loose and it was so loose that you couldnt even cock it so i opened up the gun and some of the mechanise had snapped so if it snaps while loading i suppose t could take your finger off. we shall all have to be careful aiii. nice review..... by the way what video camera do you have and does your gun seem to be ver y loud?? i cant find a silencer for it:(

If you take the Sisico bam b31 .22 pellet gun , cock it, close it, then cock it again, it won't close and is stuck open. Any suggestions as to how to go on using it?

Cool gun I just ordered mine.I ordered it looking for spring gun tunes & found this gun to be one of the best guns to use the slick50 tune.Stating 750 FPS from a .22 pellet is a powerful air rifle I hope this to be true & to see slick50 bring it up to 800 or more would be a nice treat.I would not think it would cut your fingers off unless the gun was fatly because if it would cut your fingers off means it would also discharged by its self.I would be done right there i my gun went off by its self
Tuck the butt under your arm and Hang on to the cocking lever while you put the pellet in. I got rid of one of these as I didn`t trust the catch mechanism to not mash my fingers in the breech! Powerful gun though! Great for rabbits!

very beautiful gun, but not very powerful at all... i would recon this just for little kids, and to keep it as a collector item sense alot of them are very well made, and good quality. i bet you could find a spring mechanism from other air rifles that are much more powerful, and stick it in there, and it would be a beast of an air rifle, both on looks and on power

Mine was a .177 caliber but they were also made in .22 caliber. I would buy a cheap thing of .177 caliber pellets and see if they fit. If they fall through then it is a .22. Mine didn't have any markings that said what caliber it was.
i just got this gun like 4 hours ago and i love it, my friend treated it like shit a left it in the rain mud droped it put it in water did horable things to it, but kept on firing the thing that wore out was the spring. it can take squirrel dove quail you name it very nice gun i recomend it i will take care of mine though.

I purchased one of these for $40 at a gun show. I purchased it for target practice in the back yard as my other guns will get me arrested for shooting near the houses. Power and accuracy is good but the sights were bad on mine. Slightly canted to the right and the pin came out on the first shot. I pushed it back in and its holding.
Its a cheap, powerful, air gun for practice and small game hunting, more powerful than I thought a single pump gun would ever be for this price.
the vido was short but it was good... i own one of these b3 rifles i love it every thing on it works fine i have a safety switch in front of the triger and it works also mine came with a lil book about the it how to brake it down it shows every lil pice in it it says it shoots 560/420 but it sems to me that it is a lot better then that more like 650fps
A safe way to load the B3 is to cut a 8" legth of .095" (orange color) weed trimmer line and push the hollow end of the pellet onto it then push the pellet into the chamber. If the pellet fits too loose to stay on just melt the line slightly and push a pellet on the end to form-fit the end. Not only is this a lot safer it's also a lot quicker (with a little practice) than fumbling around trying to fit the tiny pellet into the chamber! Hopefully this will save a finger or two. Happy shooting!
just do a search on how to install a breech lock on it if your worried about it. I haven't had any problems in that area, I just thought it was worth mentioning.

I would like to know where you "heard" of this rifle taking fingers off. I have had this rifle for quite a few years now and it has not let me down yet.
Is there any evidence or news reports that these rifles have took of fingers. I've never trusted the welding etc and out of sight crap metal anti- bear trap mech. Mines is similar, but side lever and folding stock. Even on first part cocked the slide has a lot of power in it. When I'm in safety mood I use a bit of wire shoved into the pellet then into barrel.
I have a B3-2, it's safety does work, haven't calibrated the Tasco scope very well yet but i'm very close, 1000 rounds (first 700 without scope) and it's still very well... killed only 2 birds (i only practice accuracy, never hunt), not quiet sure it can take on bigger things than that. Got it for 162$ here in Venezuela, (yeah I know, things are about 5 times more expensive than in the US)... I shot myself one time and didnt penetrated even the epidermis, nor does it penetrates clothes.
25 bucks online shipping included. See them sold in my area (New England) for 20-30 bucks. A real bargain, just look it over good, be careful loading and keep an eye on maintenance; you're just as likely to hurt yourself as some squirrel with these cheapo Chinese guns.
I have 22. B3-1 i Just got at a fle market. For $30 whit the box.The box sid it fired at a speeb of 700-750 fps and on mine it sounds really hard. In my first day whit it i mounet an eps and it was just verry accurid. I love my rifle.
Interesting! I must have an older version of it- mine doesnt have that little safety and no place to mount a scope. I can't even find a model number on it, but it's the same gun other than that.

I have 22. B3-1 i Just got at a fle market. For $30 whit the box.The box sid it fired at a speeb of 700-750 fps and on mine it sounds really hard. In my first day whit it i mounet an eps and it was just verry accurid. I love my rifle.

Yeah mine has no writing on it anywhere at all. I just started doing some research on chinese air rifle and found that it's called a B3-1.

Interesting! I must have an older version of it- mine doesnt have that little safety and no place to mount a scope. I can't even find a model number on it, but it's the same gun other than that.
