That assumes that there arent other ways to gain info from supposed terrorists.

There is plenty of evidence that we can get reliable info fast from prisoners through other means besides torture, and that in fact, there are other means that are more reliable and faster relative to the reliability of info, than torture.

Also, no, I wouldnt use torture. Theres enough evidence that it does more harm then good in the long run.

For Abu Gahrabe, whatever its spelled, how does the management of the prison not know whats going on in his own prison? Was he fired? These acts against prisoners happened over long periods, not a one night party while prison management was away.

If the management knew, how did he not go to the top with this to get some new personel?

This is what we got from the torture as he says.

The first guy tortured gave us nothing but a name to another guy who through torture said he commited a crime (whether it was to stop the torture or it was the truth we cant know as we have nothing else linking him to the crime).

The second guy also said he was doing other plans but we have no proof of that do we?
