@killkenny5000 I honestly have no idea why they haven't tried it even now, they've tried Mortal Kombat on more than one occasion. I know there's an intro for Sonic 3 and Sonic 3D rendered on a Spectrum and a music demo that has Sonic featured but a game doesn't exist sadly.
@zzyxyz000062 Well I heard this before the Genesis version and honestly felt the Genesis version was crap compared to this....safe to say I learned, the Genesis version is amazing.
@Otouto72 Yeah the Genesis version is awesome and this version while it lacks the obvious lack graphics, in-game music and stuff is still really good.
This is fantastic. Quite a brilliant rendition of Wilderness, all my mates who owned a C64 like myself say the Spectrum sounds shit but this tune proves them wrong.
@SONICS20TH The Speccy was my childhood and so was this game and music, this for me is the best version of Wilderness which of course is a biased opinion. =)
@MrUssrparadox I ripped the music using an emulator, pretty much a WAV dump. I believe there are methods where you can rip it from the chip in cartridges (not sure about tapes) but I don't have the technology, nor the money to do so, so I use emulation, handy for dummies like me =)

the first part of that tune (before it transitions into the wilderness stage) is from when you fight Death Adder. as for this port's rendition, it is well composed
