Generally Muay Thai are better with their upper body and TKD are better with their lowerbody. The two combined make for a DEADLY combination. OR you could just do MMA

Even though Tae Kwon Do is limited, when it comes down to it, a fighter who knows his stuff will always win. Not saying that the Muay Thai fighter doesn't know how to fight, but the point is the Tae Kwon Do fighter is just overall a better fighter. My point is that people can't say one fighting style is better than another, since all styles have strengths and weaknesses.

Tae Kwon Do is one of the most balanced and learnable fighting styles. anyone who has a head for fighting will tell you one of the most important things in battle is a balance of offence and defence. the last person i would meet 1on1 is a pro MMA fighter. perfect stamina and strength, lots of fighting experience, and extensive training in both striking, clinch and groundfighting. what do u train?

These style-vs-style match ups are always bullshit where whoever organizes the fight (in this case clearly a Korean TKD org) picks some chump from another style to come and get his ass kicked. The Chinese do the same thing in San Shou-Vs-MT, the Thai do the same thing with MT-vs-Kyokushun, the Japanese do it etc. You can never takes these fights at face value.

That said, MT is by-in-large a better fighting art than TKD. Not saying that a TKD guy can't adapt and do well.
