  • Since the translation says that they found their brethren dead; the archeologist should excavate the location where the stone was found for the graves of those that were found dead. Would they not have buried them? Also GPR should be used to search the area.

  • interesting

  • Why does everyone in the world really care about Christopher Columbus any damn way. Vikings and Templars are waaay cooler.

  • The stone's existence has been systematically hushed up, but has an entry in the 1962 edition of "World Book "encyclopedia. To be sure the 1962 encyclopedia article refers to the doubts about the stone -- that was only natural. But the research since 1962 has strengthened the arguments in favour of the stone's authenticity.

  • I translated the text some years ago myself, and found it to be really interesting. The question whether it's real or not will probably never be answered conclusively. Personally I think it's fake. The strange runes used would surely have popped up somewhere else. I look forward to watching the documentary - I want to hear what the experts have to say about this mystery.
