  • robot = k.o lol bill would love to see you using one of your boats if you have any done!

  • Actually I am thinking of showing several and may show THE KINGFISHER - a graceful WOODEN sailboat I made in the late 70s early 80s. It is a LARGE sailboat built from kit but is wooden... Bill

  • that coastguard boat looks sweet, i think i might splash out and buy one when i have the money, it looks quite a challenge with all that fibreglassing

  • Most of the boats MIDWEST sell can be fiberglassed. That is half the fun of the building process. It is messy but if you have a shop and paint area it is a great boat!!! I have a number of MIDWEST kits and will probably show them all off in time. I do have some older models I built long ago that I may dust off and show on my BLOG. Most boats are ALL PLASTIC today and you kind of loose the art of shipbuilding - WHICH IS AN ART!!! Bill

  • Another great video Bill.

I loved the part when your robot just fell over out of nowhere! That was hilarious!

I hope he didn't hurt his face to bad!

Anyway, when you made a new channel just for your modeling blogs, it inspired me to make another channel. On that channel, i'm going to make some lego stopmotions. Hopefully i'll finish them soon! Thanks!

(i'll tell you the channel when I get it up and running tommorow.)

Keep up the good work Bill!

  • Actually the robot times out after 6 or so minutes and sleeps. Normally he stays standing but this time he hit the FLOOR!!! He is fine. I decided to do a separate NON MUSIC and just talk BLOG on the models I build and related items. My Bill's Creation videos are very regimented and sometimes take quite a long while to make. Let me know your channel and I'll watch them. I really want to encourage everyone to make videos of models! Stop-motion or otherwise. ITS FUN!!! Be Well... Bill

  • Love the new blog Bill. I was digging through some of my old LEGO's to see which models I could recommend to you, and I think you would love the Lego Adventurers series. That series is the Indiana Jones LEGO's before they got the official license, the Orient is a spin off from this series which is why it has some of the same characters. Hope to see some Adventurers builds soon!

  • Believe it or not I actually got a ADVENTURE set in last week. I really didn't know what I had but figured out it preceded the ORIENT EXPEDITION set. The set I got in is 5987 DINO RESEARCH COMPOUND from 2000. Orient Expedition was from 2003. I will probably build this set in several days.... Thanks for the nice comments about this new DAILY BLOG. I hope it sometimes gives out good information and is fun... Bill

  • The earlier Adventurers models are more like the Indiana Jones movie. Set #5988 is right up your alley. Comes with a hot air balloon, the old looking trucks you like, as well as a temple with pitfalls, perils, and snakes! Just like Indiana Jones. Also, I think Set #6949 would go fantastically with your I-Sobot. It was the I-Sobot of 1994 (only made of LEGO's). And since you like Electronics, #8479 you would love. It is a dump truck that uses a barcode scanner to do commands, such as dump.

  • They sound SUPER COOL!!! I will keep an eagles eye out for ALL OF THE SETS YOU MENTIONED!!! That bar code dump truck sounds wonderful. I love a lot of pitfalls and traps!!! Thanks for the tip... Bill

  • ha ha thats cool! i micht get a boat too! hope your robots ok! ha ha ha

  • Thanks for commenting... Wooden boats are really fun and take a LOOOOOOOONG time to build. But most are super fun to build. The ROBOT is fine... HA HA!!! Bill
