check out the original sullivan family.....bluegrass group with enoch, margie, emmett and jerry.......no body can do it like the original.....jerry left the group ms margie is so great.......a true woman of god
We actually videotaped two full shows with Tammy & Jerry using a four camera shoot. The reason you never saw the videos is because their agent at the time decided we couldn't use the tapes because they were coming out with a tape of their own soon. Don't know if that ever happened, but what a waste of the talent here that we recorded.
It's a true story-Jerry's brother, Arthur, died at a church located on Highway 69 north of Jackson, AL of a heart attack-Funny thing is, Arthur Sullivan, or "Daddy" was Jerry's brother, not his dad~written while Jerry worked with his nephews Emmett & Enoch, (Arthur's sons) hence "Sing Daddy a Song", NOT "Sing Brother a Song"...
I first saw the Sullivans over 10 years ago on TBN, where I feel in love with there music. I purchased there album and was thoroughly blessed by them. I can enjoy any music as long as it is anointed. I can truly attest to the fact that their music is that.
It's too bad their agent wouldn't let us put this taped show into our video production. Jerry Sullivan wrote all their music and he is a talented performer. My favorite was their song "His Mighty Power". I'm glad you liked it.

Wow, very cool to see my uncle back then. We didn't know these videos even existed until now as his name wasn't mentioned there anywhere.

I loved the entire album but particularly loved "At the Feet of God".
My birthday is tomorrow, I think I will ask my husband to buy me a couple of their albums. Truly blessed people, they are.
