  • bollox...lol....its not just down to the cleaning the contact rails...some times there is dirt under the contact rails also if the chassis is wobbly it can cause a bad contact also....

    rookies....lol...

  • I bought a floor display of the 909 @ guitar center.

The up fader and transformer switch have been removed from the left side of the mixer.

I get audio but the led level meter won't light and the right up fader, cross fader and transformer won't respond at all no matter what I do.

    Any sugestions?

  • "Safety!" dont forget to turn off or unplug those bad boys!..good luck guys:)

  • I did exactly like you said. I have a Peavey Fx 16 and I thought and still might have a bad fader. I contacted Peavey the next day and they said that I just made a terrible mistake. Never clean a Fader with alcohol it dries out the fader contact and each fader has a certain amount of lubricant on it. They instructed me to use Fader Lube instead. I found it at my music store. They also laughed at me for using alcohol.

  • done the trick thanks dude !!!
