How to do Shakespeare

After waiting almost a year, I have shown this to my lovely incarcerated juvenile students. Comments were as follows: they is wack, that one looks like he is my age (Peter), and that one (Gavin) looks like he is about 30. Questions were as follows: do they really talk like that, and does that one (Gavin) have snuff in his mouth?

You must also know that they laughed in all the right places but looked at me with a quizzical expression that I read as, "Is Shakespeare really that easy?"
