This and Build An Ark are my two favorite GVB videos that I have seen to date. I cannot say that I like the new GVB- it just doesn't have the flair it had when Guy was the lead singer. Maybe they will become better but right now it sounds like a contest to see who can be loudest!

It all depends on the production company it is through. Like I remember Hoover saying that she got messages for some David Phelps songs. This was because he was under (and still is?) the Word Label Group, I believe. As long as something was produced under the Gaither label, it should be fine to post.

Oh I agree... I have been a Michael English fan since 1984 when I first heard him sing "I bowed my knees" with the Singing Americans. He is still quite good.... but his voice has lost something. However, he still sings with an annointing and he sounds fabulous with David and Guy on this song... NICE.

For real, I think some people confuse losing a voice and preserving a voice. Michael is probably just toning down how he used to sing some songs since he has nothing to prove anymore, everyone already knows how great he can sing. Kinda like David, all the performances I've seen of him after he left the GVB, although fantastic, they were not the blowout grand finales that Bill got him to do on EVERY homecoming video.

For real, that's what I was saying! David & Michael match perfectly, as though David is just Michael only an octave higher. To me, the perfect Gaither band would have David as tenor, Michael on lead, Marshall Hall as baritone, and Richard Sterban as bass, Bill can just make jokes with Mark.

What an absolutely great feeling it is to see Michael English not only singing Gospel Music again, but to be making appearances with the Gaithers also. I always felt the best ever lineup for the GVB was Bill, Mark, Michael English, and Terry Franklin.
