Mardi 2 Août, la scène des Bourdaines située dans les Landes (40) réunira des artistes emblématiques du reggae roots.- MAX ROMEO // SLY & ROBBIE Ft Jr REID // TONY REBEL & QUEEN IFRICA.
Be aware the original song is by Dennis Brown , This performance is by Bunny Rugs who is the lead singer with Third World. And on this performance Sly & Robbie are the Riddim section.
Its your typical interchangeable reggae contract performance....lol
This performance was taken from Sly & Robbie's 2008 tour, there used to be more on YouTube from Barcelona I think it was, then it was taken down, I had hoped the record company took it down because they were releasing it but i cannot find it anywhere, does anyone know? i'd love to have this amazing reggae....
i also remember the other vids. them were playin sattamassagana in 1 of them. so sad them took the great songs down. hope the uploaders gonna load it up again and youtube finally leaves us alone listenin 2 such nice peaces of artists work. i would pay 4 it if someone tells where 2 find.
@gbougard ohhh sorry aswad backed D.brown on "promised land" and they never covered "revolution" you should probly do your homework first before you get up on here correcting someone... ITES
@aaduntov robbie plays with his thumb, palm muted most of the time, almost on the neck. solo the neck pickup on your jazz, with some flatwounds and you'll be like 95% there.. it's all about the technique though.
I cop a nice fat tone like that on my lakland but I'm using tapewounds and a active 5 string.
You got the answer already down here, its called Revolution originaly sung by Dennis Brown, this one is sung by Bunny Rugs, singer of legendary Third World(hope I am right:)
wow he could of made a realy sweet song just with the opening beat. Must of been a hell of a concert where ever it was. Crowd looks so small. I wonder how that could be?
This is from the tour they did with Bunny Rugs (Third World). I don't know exactly where it was filmed, but it must have been 2 (or maybe 3) years ago.

@mogret gbougard is right. Revolution backed by Sly and Robbie.
You may be confusing it with D. Brown - Promised Land which was backed by Aswad's Love Fire Riddim
