Yeah, it's about a week long. I've downloaded the audios of the Mises U lectures 2009-2010(combined they're 100+ hours) and there's really only one thing you can say about it: It will blow your mind. I'm thinking of actually physically going one day too. The harder lectures especially are difficult to go through when you have only audio.

I think they have the schedule of MU 2010 at the Mises Institute website somewhere, so that should give you an idea of what's to expect.

    academy(dot)mises(dot)org

They'll obviously have new courses up there by summer. Or were you talking about Mises University?

  • he would be an awesome teacher

  • @noogie123 I think he's a professor at some community college in Alabama. Imagine that, a guy this brilliant teaching at a community college!

  • @jpschubbs i believe he is a senior fellow (?) at the ludwig von mises institute, which is basically a research/educational institute set up to promote austrian economics, libertarian political theory etc.

It has an educational part of it, but i think its main purpose is as a think tank, certainly not a community college.

but someone else will be able to explain it better than me.

Woods has an online course on the New Deal at the (brand new) Mises Academy. He teaches 2 lectures during Mises University every year, but otherwise he doesn't do any regular teaching. And yes, he's a senior fellow at LvMI.

Though he used to be at a community college in New York some years ago.

  • Tom Woods is gold!!!!!!

  • this guy is great, he always makes me laugh

  • One of the most interesting speakers Ive ever listened to. And all off the cuff....he makes economics so basic.

  • Dr. Tom Woods is an excellent speaker and it is always an absolute joy to listen to him. He makes the understanding of Economics both fun and interesting.
