Actually it was picked up.....slated to air on Fox but for some reason after 7 or 8 episodes it was shelved.....Too bad cuz I think it wud have been an awesome tv show. But then again may be we wouldn't have Supernatural now... So I guess it all worked out for the best!

thats FOX for you they rarely run with anything or take any chances, plenty of ace tv shows have been unduly cut short by that network!

It's awful that this series never made it to air. Somehow or another, it reminds me of Six Feet Under.

This particular family relationship is not dysfunctional (as Six Feet Under), just slightly awry. Oh, Jensen's character is pretty mysterious... Vintage Max?

Because the guy telling the story isn't Jensen's character Max, it's Max's (Jensen's) dead brother Jake who is telling the story - he mentions that between 3:23 and 3:39.

How old do you think Jensen is here? When was the pilot made?

On IMDb it's got it listed as Still Life (2005) but then in their cast summary it says 2003-2004. In 2003 he would have been 25 - a couple of years younger than what he was when he filmed the first season of Supernatural. It's amazing how much he changed in just a couple of years.

Then again, I could be totally wrong about the dates. So please someone correct me if I am!!!
