Linux Gaming: Crashday (with WINE) on Ubuntu

I have an issue with crashday on my machine..i am using Ubuntu, but do not know the version. I do not know my wine version either...what is going on is the Atari video thing starts, but it does not complete...i see the three ribbons starting to turn red, but then it freezes..i can not skip ahead or anything...any fixes you know of?

Its depend, but in facts for an easy of use Desktop, multimedia task, and all the stuff, Mac, but, if you like to play with consoles and need more control of what you do, Linux fits good, im just saying the most important things if a Mac user try to come here, but really i prefer Windows for common task, Linux is a head pain sometimes, Mac i dont like it too much, but is easy to use, Linux is not so easy, the most famous easier Linux is Ubuntu, but is not the essencial Linux.

I record with RecordMyDesktop which gives nice video quality, but Youtube really kills the quality with their resolution and size restrictions.
