actually one thing that sucks if that idk if u can change it but when ur recording n 720p like on here the persons head is normal but on a webcam its not the persons head is thin lol
hmm well the lifecam cinema came n its oddd i dnt get why it looks good in 720p when its n the vidoe recorder/the preview yet when im on cam live i was testing it and its not n 720p hmmmmmmmm idkk plus i have an emachine but the cam runs smoothyy
:( mines wont record hd... it lags etc.... and i meet all the requirements..... i guess i need a faster processor like quad core lulz..... sucks for me
I own 2 Microsoft Lifecam Cinema HD webcams and the picture quality and sound quality is far superior then the Logitech Quickcam 9000 pro. You can have true 16:9 720p @ 30fps and the sound is DVD quality 16bits 48000KHz digital noise cancelling mic. I'm very excited and happy to own the Lifecam Cinema HD webcam. I highly recommend this to anyone! But don't forget to get the latest Lifecam software and firmware upgrade from the microsoft website.
@GRiZLOC thank godddddddddd an actually postativeee comment on something lol yah i cant wait for mine n a few days cant wait to get it man people bash crappp anymoree
@buytv yah will do cant wait for the webcam to come and also if i want to i can also download the firmware if i wantt/the upgrade so yah grr only time will tell when it gets here hate waiting for stuff but then lifes a waiting game
no that's not right. If you have watched 3dgameman videos u can see on the comments that he tells that there is a firmware update for the lifecam cinema hd that unlock true 720p 16:9 videochatting at 30fps. This Microsoft lifecam cinema HD is the best webcam available. The logitech quickcam pro 9000 doesn't even come close to lifecam's capabilities period !!!
I figured out how to use a seperate microphone while at the same time using microsoft's lifecam software! I posted a video tutorial on my channel. I found it by accident, a lot of trial and error.
I'm pretty sure he 'tagged" that nice little package...those two couldn't wait till work was completed on the webcam review!..that little tart looks like quite a minx!
"that happened so quickly" no it never that was one of the slowest auto focus i've ever seen. rubbish....saying that i use manual focus so this camera should be ideal for stopmotion at hd quality.
You know what? you are right, I take it back, I was not considering the frame rate of the YouTube video, which combined with whatever frame rate of the camera should completely mess it up.
well I've been adviced (by user paolodec) that for getting the 30 fps at 1280x720 it needs to be in a well lightened room, in other case the frame rate decrease, I think that is for the very tiny lens (smaller lens needs more light or equivalently more expscition time)
Standard television has a frame rate of 27 frames a second. All webcams I've worked with (five of them by various companies) all have this weird motion and lack of clarity. I think it's from making a camera lens for a device the size of a clam shell. I'll be getting this camera soon and be able to make a better comparison.
you should check out andranic's video coverage on the lifecam cinema. he has an unboxing video AND a Pro 9000 vs Cinema video comparison. very informative you should check it out.
Im getting the camera today and doing a Unboxing of it on my website. I have Webcasting Network and we use a Canon HF 200 and two Logitech 9000 pro's. The issue with the Logitech is that it can not do 30 FPS above 640x480 Anything over that it will slow down . The Lifecam Cinema Claims 30fps at very High Res so lets see how well it performs.
can anyone who bought this please compare it to Logitech's Quickcam/Webcam Pro 9000?
I noticed this video does not cover anything about the Cinema's ability under lowlighting situations (i.e. Logitech's RightLight 2 technology). ClearFrame seems like nothing other than the ability to achieve 30 fps at full HD resolution--something the updated Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 can already do.
Also, any word about this webcam's min/rec. requirements? That is, real world application. 1.6/3.0 GHz is high

Well, I guess that's as smooth as 30fps gets. I can still see some funny effect. Not that I blame the camera, I blame the 30 frames per second.

30 fps is normal handy cams rate so what are you talking about?
I think is a very good rate (algthough It does not really shines in this video!)
