no, it IS a glitch, search around the sight and u will find what I say is true. U make the legs invisible, the legs are attatched to the ground but you cant see them.

Why is this guy getting thumbs up? This is most definantly a glitch. What SHOULD be happening is that Spore uses what is closest to the ground as legs, which in this case are the stubs of the limbs.

I found this out for my self in the Creature creator before spore was on the market. in the early days creator it was as simple as making legs and removing the foot part. it would stand on air

Thats not a glitch! the creatures floating cus those are just limbs without legs, and when they r in the way of the creature reaching the groung, the creature floats.

When you take their feet away they kinda just scoot around. I think it looks like it's flying because it has so many legs, making the scooting smooth.
