The only way the IDF can avoid so many civilian casualties is for them to get out of their armoured vehicles and commit themselves to foot patrols and house to house clearances as NATO forces have done and are doing in other parts of the world. Using WP and Depleted Uranium is Not a way to avoid civilian casualties.

Both sides have used human shields to a certain extent! The Israeli army are not using a strict code of conduct ask the UN / Red Cross. Using White Phospherous in highly populated areas cannot pinpoint enemy targets and is against UN binding law. This is not just a war against Hamas this is ethnic cleansing. There are striking simularities to the Israeli wall around Gaza and the Nazi wall around Warsaw during the begining of the last century.
