He was the captain of a slave ship and he eventually realized how evil what he was doing as a slave trader and that is why he wrote the song Amazing Grace. He realized that the slave trade was wicked and thats why the song starts: Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me... Though I agree that many have been killed by the catholic church it is not even millions let alone billions

I understand your point about the different types of people and their tendancies to do good or evil, but the problem is that the Bible says "There is none righteous, no not one." So though there are different sets of outward actions some deff. better than others, none of us is a "good" person in light of God's perfection!

Ive noticed one thing in common with Christian testimonies. Alot of them get into strife in their adolescent years. Isnt that just the hormones kicking in, and then after maturing to adulthood you realise what an idiot you were. I dont understand why would this maturing process be attributed to God?
no wonder, you're not interpreting that scriptue right, Paul specifically was talking about the fact that it is not right for women to speak concerning problems within the church as though they have some authority over male leaders. thats why it says if they are to learn something to ask their husbands. read some more of the bible and you'll see that there are plenty of prophetess and women missionaries that were used to edify the church.

Hey Jessica, You shared a very good thing... like you said, no matter how much u have messed up, He is always there for u. you are lost maybe you have had some people who claim to be christians but werent who led u to believe such lies but cfhristianity teaches us to love our enemies so if someone claims to be christian but hates their enemies they are not truly a christian
Disciple means keeping the commandments of Jesus Christ.Jesus said "if you love me you will keep my commandments" in john 14:15.This seperates the "so-called christian" from the true believer AKA disciple.
Why do all christian testimonies seem to start with someone i knew died? its a common thread im noticing.

the feeling you describe between 2.10 to 2.30 is a shared thing.. i know i certainly felt it at one time and i can see the lord has thrown you the same lifeline that i grabbed a hold of 9 months ago, it is a feeling thats so deep and words can't describe but i know now as im sure you do, that i don't want anyone of my brothers and sisters to feel like the way i did, its amazing how much god can reveal to us about his plans during our struggles.
Your testimony will definitely help other people. Especially young beautiful women like yourself and what you've experienced in your past and what was you were doing wrong and what you had to do to make your life better. Remember no matter what, God loves you always
