@Flaminheartx3 That "really rediculous" stance you're talking about,is called High Guard or "From the Roof".It's very flexible and can be changed to any other stances in a matter of seconds,the attacks from above are stronger,as you are holding the weapon with two hands+ the momentum from jumping and swinging the sword down.

The creators of witcher were consulting experts in the field of sword handling,it's not just made up.I think it's cool and based on real life facts.

Is this game anything like "Risen" in the combat-system? Is it detailed so YOU must block with your shield or actually press some buttons to jump out of harms way? Or is it more like NwN (wow and most fantasy games) where you compare values and then the AI makes a check if you are hit or missed.

I have difficulties to see the mechanics in these videos.

Yes, that's a hard enemy alright... BECAUSE you didn't use the pylons! If you lure the golem into between the 3 pylons and click on each one, lightning strikes the golem for large amounts of health (and yourself, if you're not careful).

Do that a couple of times (takes one minute at max) and voila, boss fight over.

You can fight a lots of cool stuff, and you can have a party member in some points of story, but not forever, only for the mission. For example You have to kill a Cockatrice in sewers, You meet order of the Flaming Rose knight, who want's to help you. You can choose to let him go with you, or tell him to f**k off.

Aber trotzdem ist Gothic dem Witcher WEIT unterlegen

This Enemy's Engine and Animations seem's to "stuck" and their is not really a Damage or Knockback or something like this to see, when he "kicked" Geralt ;)

I think this Enemy is light bugged - or the Designers failt with him completely ;)
