japan's work ethic has worked for them to become an economic superpower, but i think the importance of individuality, self-expression and less of a 'salaryman' culture is so important for the wellbeing of her population. i can imagine it to be very frustrating to be caught in a culture that requires exaggerated grovelling apologies, an unnecessarily strict and patronising honorific system and a nervous disposition.

East Asia have historically seen low conversions to religions such as Islam or Christianity since both have very different worldview to Eastern philosophies and religions such as Confucianism and Shintoism. Abrahamic religions view the world as black and white, definite and separate. East Asians view it as a balance of opposites.

Well people do inherently have good and bad in them, it's just to see which one they reinforce more. Dying in an unnatural way is never easy to judge, e.g I kill you, i have sinned. In the next life you'll kill me so i can repay the debt. Or I kill a lot of people in this life and in the next life, maybe i'll be born disabled or have real solid hardships through that life. One lifetime might not be enough to pay for it, and so the debt maybe repaid by those who i've killed.
I guess it's wrong for me to judge whether someone deserves it or not. But whether they deserve it is none of my business and neither SHOULD anyone die of an unnatural death. In the past there weren't as many problems as there are today, mainly because the level of morality has dropped for people in society that problems will occur.

East Asia have historically seen low conversions to religions such as Islam or Christianity since both have very different worldview to Eastern philosophies and religions such as Confucianism and Shintoism. Abrahamic religions view the world as black and white, definite and separate. East Asians view it as a balance of opposites.

Well people do inherently have good and bad in them, it's just to see which one they reinforce more. Dying in an unnatural way is never easy to judge, e.g I kill you, i have sinned. In the next life you'll kill me so i can repay the debt. Or I kill a lot of people in this life and in the next life, maybe i'll be born disabled or have real solid hardships through that life. One lifetime might not be enough to pay for it, and so the debt maybe repaid by those who i've killed.

If you can't find the book in your library then you can download it. Google "download zhuan falun" and click on the first link that comes up and then download the US translated version. Read the book from start to finish, that way you can understand it, when you finish reading the book you'll understand where i'm coming from =D.

That sounds like a good idea ;P When I've finished all of my work, I will definitely read it.
