0:40 that right there, that was the key, he always does that when he needs to "find time" it's like he plays with the balance of the car, induces a snap oversteer on purpose so he can have a fast exit of the corner, check A1 Ring qualy of 2002 and 2003 to see it clearly... POST 2008 cars have so much mechanical grip that he can't no longer do that, that's why in Qualy's Nico speed is edging him, but on Races he's still awesome... hopefully the W03 can fight for wins, then we'll see who's BOSS

I would say Schumacher did a fine Job in 2005. Only Ferrari and espacially Bridgestone had a bad year.

And also Barrichello was always outperfomed by Schumacher through the year.

@FRFM00 Kimi had a way better season with the same McLaren so the one to blame is still Montoya. Michael won his race that season racing with Jordan and Minardi but he deserved at leas one race win. Remember the Hungaroring pole , the hidraulics failure in Bahrain where he was following Alonso very close , the San marino GP etc.

He was the only bridgestone runner even remotely close to the front runners, and managed to drag the ferrari to 3rd in the WDC......even though the michelins were FAR superior that season.

He did some amazing drives in 2005.

2005...A baaaad year for Schumacher, Ferrari and Bridgestone. But i saw another video about Schumacher and Ferrari in the end of 2005 where Schumacher said, "A season like we've had which at some stage had to happen." Like Schumacher said it's gotta happen sometime, it won't please some people but a bad season like that had to happen. But i DO think that 2005 was even worse than 1996, because in 1996 he had 2 or 3wins, but in 2005 he only had 1. And that was only because he got lucky at Indy.

The ferrari in my opinion had the best sounding engine, mercedes was the most piercing, it sounded like 4 engines at once, almost like ghosts, it was scary.

It was 90% the tires that caused the problems for Ferrari in 2005. The couldn't take the heat especially. However, Michael still finished 3rd in the championship. His car control shown here, just how special he was. This was not the worst Ferrari of them all though. The 1980 Ferrari F1 car was true a disgrace.

The F2005 was actually a very good car, I'm sure of it, but due to the huge change in regulations, it lost a lot of it's performance, and caused the Renault and the McLaren to overtake.

Great performance by Schumacher, nonetheless.

actually the car WAS crap, not the chassis - it was purely down to the bridgestone tyres being shit. Tyre performance makes up maybe 40% of overall car performance, so in effect, yes it was a crap car, but due to the tyres. If they were on Michelins he would have destroyed everyone.

Ferrari were so off the pace in 2005. Michael Schumacher did a great job all season of just getting the most out of the car.
